Our stay at Ilingas Mare was absolutely wonderful and my favorite of all the five places we stayed at in Greece. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the remote location, the beautiful water, and the very clean and modern apartment. And while the Ilingas Mare tavern is not run by the same business owners, it was great having the traditional Cretan homemade foods each evening just outside our door.

This property’s location is excellent, front beach location with a good restaurant right next door. Our host was really attentive to our every need. Its a great value for the location and the spacious apartment. we loved it so much that we ended up staying 4 days total when we originally had booked it for 2 days. Such a hidden gem if you want to go relax by the beach all day and enjoy the sun. its located close proximity to the ferries incase you want to venture out to other ports like Loutro and Sweet water beach among other places. The host was great and checked on us daily via text to make sure all our needs were met. The restaurant next door has some good quality food with friendly staff. highly recommended

The lovely owners took such good care of us. Welcoming and attentive. The rooms are large and clean with quality bed sheets. The kitchenette had orange juice, crackers butter, and jams as well as coffee facilities. The garden wall is preserved from 1905! And it's a beautiful place to spend time relaxing. The personal touch was everything! Thank you 💓

We had a perfect stay here! Wonderful location, beautiful garden, comfortable room, lovely hosts, next to an amazing beach - everything was so good. The whole place is really well taken care of, quiet, calm, and free of crowds. Nice food at the taverna, too. It was just what we needed. Sfakia is a really special, interesting and beautiful place. We really wish we could have stayed for much longer. We will be back for sure! One small suggestion to the hosts: it would be nice if you could send an automatic message to guests after booking, to have confirmation from you directly (not just Booking), and to give some information about contacting you for questions and arrival. It is just a small extra that calms the nerves of anxious travelers :)

    Skafia is a lovely little area near some great hiking (sweet water beach, Aradena gorge, Kakos Poros viewpoint, etc). Faros Apartments are in a great location with a nice sunset view. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They also own a cafe in town as well as a boat ferry service. The apartment is very clean. The bathroom was large and new.

    The apartment was recently redecorated in a modern Greek style. It was spacious and very comfortable. The location was only a stone's throw fron Vrisi beach, convenient for morning and evening swims. Tavernas and shops were only a few minutes walk. Parking was close by. Overall we were very pleased.

    The owners are very kind. If we needed anything, they were really complaisant. The location of the apartment was great for us, because we were driving around the Island alot and because "our" beach was just 5 minutes away. It has a large balcony with a lovely seaside view. They have enough place for parking. Near apartment, just a little down the road, they have their own (coffee)bar/restaurant with great food, the best coffe and the most gorgeous view in Sfakia. We really recommend it!

    Big spacious studio with everything necessary available. Balcony has great sideways seaview which offers stunning sunsets. Staff is very friendly and restaurant has great value for money.

    We liked everything. Julia had thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and a home away from home and was also very responsive with communication. A lovely, comfortable apartment and we wish we could have stayed longer. We also enjoyed the lovely view of the sea from the balcony.
