The accommodations matched the photos precisely. The personnel were incredibly attentive and amiable. The cuisine at the restaurant was delectable. In anticipation of our early morning flight, they thoughtfully provided us with packed lunches in lieu of breakfast.

Easy to get to, we arrived very late around midnight, and the lovely host was there to greet us and let us in. Very safe area, very quiet to sleep, and everything around you for convenience , chemist , supermarket , restaurants etc.

Nikos the manager was loveley and so helpful. He recommended restaurants, activities and a local cook (Maria) who delivered home made food to the apartment which was delicious! The apartment itself was modern, spacious and clean with fantastic quiet aircon for a great nights sleep and essentials provided on arrival. The pool area was relaxing, clean and modern with a STUNNING view! Definitely recommend for a chill holiday with friends or family.

Excellent holiday home in a quiet area, close to the port of Souda, only 20-30 minutes drive from Chania old town and all nice beaches of the Akrotiri peninsula, with private parking and a genious terrace. The apartment is equipped with all what you might need, food can be purchased in a huge supermarket nearby (less than 5 minutes walk). The owner lady is very nice and helpful, immediatly responding to all messages, ensuring easy check-in/out and all kind of issue solving just in case you would have any. She even surprised us with delicious Cretan sweet and home made Raki. The place is very spacious, nicely furnished, with 2 separate bedrooms (blinds on all windows!), a nice living area (that you won't use for sure, you will prefer the terrace) and a fully equipped, separate kitchen. Beds were extra comfy, all linen and towels were soft and good smelling, everything was clean, wifi and air cons worked perfectly, hot water guaranteed, found all kind of toiletries in the bathroom, it was just perfect. We will return for sure.

Very conveniently located. Giorgos was very helpful throughout our stay. No problem with us arriving late. Was there to greet us and easy to contact. Gave us great advice for nearby food on arrival and even offered to order for us. Also some wonderful advice for places to visit during out stay. The flats were very comfortable, very clean with everything you need for your stay. Very modern. The garden was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Easy access to airport and Chania as well as Souda. Would definitely stay again!

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only. No need for rental car nor searching for parking -- just take bus. Use rental car for pleasure scenic routes into mountains especially Milo's Restaurant. But only during sunlight, not at night!! The trip there is well worthwhile for the food & service, the trip itself is adventurous, scenic & breathtaking because of height.

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi...

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi services. just hop on the number 13 bus and its 2.50 euros to take you to and from chania. we made the mistake of taking a taxi to our apartment from the airport and it was 50 euros. trust me itll take the same amount of time waiting for the bus as it will waiting for a taxi.

Souda is 6 km from Chania.

Souda is 6 km from Chania. It’s close enough to the airport & some nice nearby beaches. It is the main port of Chania from where ferry & cruise liners berth . It is essentially a naval military port. A quiet little local town.

A very nice place with excellent view to the sea and mountains. A new and modern building on the top of the mountain. At the property we found everything we needed: a well equiped kitchen, confortable beds, modern design and technique, good WiFi, a nice terrace with a place for barbeque. The swimming pool outside was very clean and the water was of a confortable temperature. Owners of the property surprised us with a welcoming backet containing olive oil, sweets, coffe and other suff. This place is perfect for relax. We wish to come back some day.

Excellent friendly helpful staff.

Excellent friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed with superb bathroom facilities. Used local cheap reliable bus to visit Chania. Very interesting area which we were unable to see much of as only there one night en route to other areas in Crete. Hope to return one day!

Villa Leon was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Perched up the hill over looking Souda Bay the villa was very spacious inside and out with a lovely pool. Mike the owner was very friendly and on hand for anything you needed - cooked us a lovely dish and equipped the villa with arrival goodies! Mike really was a host with most but, not intrusive in any way, leaving you to enjoy your stay as you desire! Small taverna 10 min walk and mini market 15 mins. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel did what it said on the tin, we only stayed one night but found it to be of a good standard. Just one thought if you are planning to go into Chania check out the park and ride, it is hassle free, free easy parking and no charge for the short journey into the old town. Drop off at the central bus station and pick up the bus outside of Publix Supermarket which is situated on the main street serving the old town to return to the car park.

The warmth reception from the host was a big initial plus. Very friendly and we were greeted with just out of the oven home made tiropita: delicious! The place was exactly as advertised, the pictured didn't lie at all. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet. The place was like 5 minute drive to Souda and 10-15 to Chania. It was close to main road accesses so it was easy to move around. Highly recommended!

The apartment was great, near port of Souda and a 15 min drive from Chania. The host was very nice and arranged a baby cot for our 8 months old daughter. The area is very quiet and she slept great. You can keep the rooms completely dark with the outside blinds. Everything was perfect.

We had the sea view room so we really enjoyed our stay, we stayed at the hotel as an extra night before going to the airport. Staff arranged a taxi for us. Room nice and clean with a small balcony. Ideal location for a lovely walk around suda bay.
