This place is amazing! First of all the super friendly owners, who take wonderful care for their guests and beenig always present to help. We got great hints for hiking. We faced an unexpected health issue during our stay and Dimitri was incredibly helpful and supportive, far exceeding any expectations. If you love authentic regional cuisine, this is the place for you. Andromachi is a fantastic cook. She will surprise you with her traditional recipes.

Beautiful old building but with very new-looking facilities (bathroom), a beautiful garden and superfriendly and helpful hosts. At a convenient location for the Vikos canyon crossing and walks/hikes across the many bridges and villages. Thasos was very knowledgable about the area and activities, and picked us up after our canyon hike. Their homemade food and drinks are amazing. We will be back!

A large house with three spacious and well-designed bedrooms with another sofa bed in the central space of the second floor. Perfect for families traveling together. The rooms gave the feeling of a five-star hotel, the showers are new and luxurious, the whole house has been renovated and everything is new and beautiful. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful yard with a view of the village. We arrived in cool weather and the house was heated by central heating. You can enter by car, but because the road is narrow, you can also park on the road and take a short walk. In our case, the hosts were in the village and welcomed us and even helped us. The hosts were charming, they thought of all the little details both in terms of home design and on a personal level.

A pretty and quiet area.

A pretty and quiet area. There is not much in Vista but the next village is only a 5 minute drive with a few restaurants and cafes. I would say you definitely need a car if staying in Vitsa. Some lovely scenery and walks within driving distance.

Good place for fit hikers on cobbled paths to stone bridges, old villages and Vikos gorge - walking boots recommended. Vitsa also has a nice square where you can relax under a large plane tree and view the upper part of the village. It's a good location for exploring the area by car too but take into account that there are very few petrol stations around.

We had a fabulous stay at Katikia Zagori, an experience to remember! From the warm welcome and hospitality of Tasos and Sofia and friendliness of all staff to the quality and cleanliness of the room and the entire guesthouse complex, everything was just so beyond expectations. Breakfast was delicious including a variety of home made traditional pies and cakes and could be taken in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the garden or in the wonderful garden itself with views of Vitsa village and the mountains around.

The location was excellent, the village of Vitsa is one of the most beautiful villages…the guesthouse is very traditional and the room was spacious and spotless! Mr Petros, the owner, was really helpful and he devoted a lot of his time to making suggestions on the best places to visit and which is the best way to see something! There’s also a parking lot which is very convenient!

The guest house has a great position overlooking the deep valley and the town of Vitsa. We enjoyed the varied breakfasts on the terrace. Our room was large with a hot shower and a comfortable bed. Maria gave us a lot of good information and maps about walks in the Vikos gorge and beyond, and all the staff were friendly.
