We liked everything. George and his team were amazing. The breakfast was extremely good and all items were homemade. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, a stylish, renewed authentic very large house.

It's in the most picturesque location. It looks like a one storey building but the hotel floors go down from ground floor to take advantage of the cliff side location. The balcony view across the gorge is, well, gorgeous. The staff were great explaining the facilities and key card entry. The mountain views and quiet atmosphere are the reward for the picture postcard lane access.

We were well looked after. Will, our host was very helpful giving us relevant local knowledge in a friendly manner. Eating a home cooked, room delivered breakfast on our balcony, overlooking the stunning Lousios Gorge and mountain range, was a highlight!

Most hikers on the Menalon trail skip Zygovisti - I think this is a great shame, as it's one of the most welcoming little villages I've ever encountered. The house is in the middle of "upper Zygovisti", which means you're immersed in an environment of beautiful mountain and forest views. The house was extremely well stocked with tea, coffee, oranges, fresh local eggs etc. Special bonus was a bottle of local Tsipourou which was really delicious.

We were one night on Ortansia guesthouse. The room was very clean, cosy and welcoming. The kitchen was well organized, clean dishes, coffee machine and snacks. The shower was also very clean, hot water was great! We arrived quit late and the communication with Chrisi was very easy and fast. The guesthouse has very convenient parking place.
