Nice Big apartment, with working AC Newly refurbished and clean. 10 min walk to the Beach and tavernas great location not overcrowded like up to Oia. Easy to get by car to Plisada, Kamari and Red Beach. Aleksandr the owner is really helpful and open to help with anything which makes a big difference.

There is just too much to ''like''... Emma is a fantastic host! Our room and outside pool area was just gorgeous and we loved lounging around the pool and soaked up the sun. Breakfast was a highlight every morning before we went out to explore Santorini.

Our stay was amazing overall. The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with any request to make our stay easier and more comfortable. The villa itself was great, it was very clean, well-furnished, spacious, and very comfortable for two couples. It was also very well equipped with everything we needed, including kitchenware, cookware, and other essentials. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, which were perfect for relaxing after swimming in the sea. The location was also ideal, just a couple of minutes from the beach by car and easily accessible.

A hidden jem, off the beaten path! Very close to Vlichada beach which is one of the best in the island, quiet area away from the crowds with stunning sea view. The hosts where very friendly and helpful. The villa is newly built very clean and it also has a very convenient outdoors shower. We would definitely come over and over again!

The town itself is very small.

The town itself is very small. However, the island is about 20 km in lenght, renting a car is not too expensive. You can drive up to see the northern sied of the island where you'll be stunned by the view and the natural beauty of the island.

It's a quieter place at the opposite end of the island from...

It's a quieter place at the opposite end of the island from Fira and Oia which seem to be crazy busy with Cruise tourists. I would recommend it as a base for exploring the island. It's possible to find more reasonably and realistically priced restaurants here away from the craziness of Fira and Oia.

Vlyhada is the best beach on the island!

Vlyhada is the best beach on the island! The cliff behind the beach with its specific volcanic relief is just monumental. There are sunbeds at the beginning of the bay but futher you go wilder will be the beach. And yes, there is also the FKK part but it is not fixed and you can do how you feel it. The good restaurant with traditional food and fresh seefood is Fisher man s house. Small market that is ib the port is more expansive that others but saves you when you need water or beer.

A small Village just at the end of the road creates the lazy atmosphere of a perfect holiday. It is not so well communicated with Fira as the rest of the villages on the island, but the bus can take you to the capital 4 times a day, which is enough. Please notice that there's no night life, just 3 tavernas and the sound of the sea. Vlychada beach is one of the most stunning beaches in Greece.

Small village with nice friendly beach (dark sand), which is not crowded at all. If someone wants fancy beaches with good facilities and parties, it is the best to go somewhere else. There are nice small restos with great Greek food, some even offer music evenings. A small mini market can be found at the beach.

The region is far from the city center and with few options for transport, which can be an issue. The views and the quietness of the regions are just amazing for those looking for a quiet and relaxed place to stay.

Location was away from the main town which can work if you are looking for a quiet hotel. Very peaceful. Rooms are basic but clean and all you really need. Bus routes are limited but the biggest tip I could give-use the bus times and the Santorini train tour. There are plenty of busses from Fira to Perissa beach. There is a hop on hop off train tour that leaves every hour from this location the last leaving at 7pm (check the facebook for times for next season). This train goes right by the hotel and is 6 euro and valid for 4 hours.

Great location if you want to be away from all the busyness, right at the port for sunset cruises. Plenty of parking if you hire a car. Lovely sea views. Staff are great. Rooms really nice. People moan about the steps up to it, they aren't bad at all, disabled access can be accommodated. If you want to be in the action, don't come, if you want a bit of chill and be close to everything (island isn't that big) come here. Most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel anywhere.

Perfect room for our short stay while transiting through Santorini. Very clean and well presented along with some breakfast items. Handy for vlychada beach and some good local fish restaurants.
