La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. From the restaurant and balcony you can enjoy the same view. The staff and owner were very friendly and checked on me and made sure if I needed something. I was upgraded to a larger room (with a shower with good water pressure), which was nice, because I was the only guest. You can use the kitchen and fridge and there is a water tank.
