Located in National Park Brijuni, Brijuni Rooms Karmen features comfortable rooms with a park or sea view. At the hotel, all rooms include a desk. This was like staying at a museum (in a good way). The decor and furniture were old but charming. The balcony was a good size and the location is fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again. Meals and reception are in Hotel Neptune.
Set in National Park Brijuni, Hotel Neptun offers comfortable rooms and a variety of eating venues, all surrounded by nature and the sea. It was an amazing stay! A nice boat ride from Fazana and hotel is right at the port! We ordered half board and it was a great decision and there are no places around for dinner unless you take boat to Fazana. There are bike rental station closeby and you can even put the price on a room so it was also convenient. All in all Brijuni is an amazing island to explore on foot or by bike! And as it was off season there were only locals so we enjoyed this part too! No groups or massive tourism.
Unfortunately ,There are only a few animals left on the brijuni,,not worth visiting park only coz of the animals,Infrastructure is very bad, several beautiful beaches, natur and peace are ok.To get arround brijuni is easy,aprox3 ,4 hour walking
Baeutiful islands, the Veliki Brijun is well worth visiting. I haven't been to the other islands and I actually doubt that it is possible to visit them. See all the exhibitions, enjoy the beach, the walks, bicycle rides and a good dinner buffet at the hotel. It is also great to go to a theatre performance on Brijuni if you understand the language. If you are a hotel guest, you can take the ferry to Fažana for free. It only takes 15 minutes to get across. At Fažana, there are shops, some nice restaurants, tavernas and excellent ice-cream. All food and drinks are much cheaper than at the hotel on the island.
Wonderful national park with abundant wild life (including large colonies of peacocks), beautiful nature and lots of history. Rent a golf cart to get around the surprisingly large island, and then park it for a good walk along marked trails or just across the land. If you like golf, there is a surprisingly large 18-hole course as well - with "greens" made of fine gravel to avoid the need for using grass-improving chemicals in the park. They even rent usable equipment. Just be careful not to hit the many deer that grass on the fairways :-)
The Brijuni archipelago is a Croatian national park that has beaches, bike paths, wildlife, history and culture. Whether you have a day or fortnight, your stay will be an incredible experience for families and couples.
The island is offering quite a lot, but landmarks and direction signs are definitely missing. If you take the bike you can easily lost and drive in wrong direction, even with the map. Why someone do not draw track numbers on the road...
Great place to stay with good breakfast. All our recommendations.
