Authentic hospitality (seriously high praise based on merit) and fond memories await all guests as the hostess places a high premium on both you and your experience. Whether, I needed fresh towels, directions or well-informed local advice I could knock on her door. Always answered with a genuine smile, everything being nothing but a pleasure. Great pride and care is taken to ensure your experience is enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant which is the best way I can describe the service. The Hostess personally met and welcomed me at the door, noticing I had weighty luggage - a proper struggle to manage she made a quick phone call and like that (what felt like a 1 min) much needed assistance arrived. The gleeful ambience with which I was welcomed upon arrival remained constant throughout my stay. The language barrier was a source of much laughter and always overcome. This is testament to a can do mentality, excellent service, good practice, value for money, honesty and integrity, professionalism and the irreplaceable human touch. The apartman offers 100% privacy, indoor climate control which is yours to personalise and regulate which as a South African was most appreciated and thoughtful. The mini fridge is stocked with an assortment of locally produced traditional beverages representative of Đakovo and the county. The apartman afforded me wonderful peace of mind being safe and secure. I absolutely adored the size, function layout and decor of the single person studio apartman I resided in for two weeks. I highly recommend this accommodation - it is as advertised!! That's a great feeling.

The apartment was great, same as the location. The host prepared everything as agreed. The parking is available which is great and the city centre just in a few minutes walk. For all of those travelling to Đakovo for a weekend getaway or for a longer period, this is a great spot.

    Dakovo is calm, safe and very chill.

    Dakovo is calm, safe and very chill. Walking around at night was fine for a single woman - lots of restaurants and cafes. Ivandor Horse Farm was idyllic and lovely -not normally something I would do but it was really really picturesque and almost meditative.

    A pleasant and clean city, with many bars and restaurants. Cheap food and drink, a meat plate for 5 people was 25 euros. Very friendly staff and residents Despite the fact that we were at the beginning of September, outside the tourist season, there was a varied night life, the disco was open A great starting point for visiting the surrounding sights, I also recommend Vukovar and Osijek Saymoon from Slovenija

    Dakovo is a hidden Gem in the heart of Slavonija (Croatia).

    Dakovo is a hidden Gem in the heart of Slavonija (Croatia). The city centre is small but gorgeous with the Cathedral and the park for romantic walks right beside it. Even though it is not the biggest city, it is bursting with life. The centre is full of cafés, restaurants, shops and there are people everywhere chatting, relaxing, soaking up the sun. The food in Slavonija is known to be some of the best in all Croatia, and Dakovo is the perfect place to try it! Only a short drive away from Osijek, but definetly worth it! There are also the prize-winning horses to see, a market to enjoy and nature reserves and ponds nearby to relax on the hotter summer days.
