The location is great, near cafés, restaurants, shops, and a wonderful view of boats in the bay. We loved the little balcony and enjoyed our morning coffee there! The owners were very kind and accommodating.

The property is central to Vela Luka’s restaurants, cafes and boats that take you to various islands. All for a reasonable price. It’s super clean and modern, house is made of stone but the rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The owner Mara is so warm and friendly, she offered Rakija upon arrival which was really special. Will definitely come back for a visit.

In general, everything was great! The apartment is easy to reach (just a few steps down, very accessible) and perfectly located. The bus stop is nearby, and right next door you’ll find two supermarkets plus a restaurant with excellent pizza and gelato. There are also plenty of other restaurants around, and the beach is within walking distance. The space itself is comfortable, well-lit, and has plenty of room. It’s very well equipped — everything you might possibly need is there, including a great selection of pots and pans for cooking, which is not always the case in rentals. Overall, a very practical and pleasant place to stay!

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem!

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik...

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik for example, a very pleasant town and harbour to wander round with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours, easy to get ferries to other islands or just across the bay to a swimming spot.

    The place is really nice and very well located.

    The place is really nice and very well located. However, the WiFi in our room didn't work during our stay. The people at the management office were diligent in finding a solution although the result was not positive at all. As you can imagine, not having WiFi at all in our room was an unpleasant surprise.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars. You can find well-equipped groceries, a drugstore, and everything you need for your stay here. There is a beautiful boulevard by the marina. You can find nice beaches within walking distance. If you have a car, there are plenty of outstanding beaches that you can drive to in less than 15 minutes. Additionally, you can take a boat taxi to visit the nearby, wonderful Proizd Island.

    Amazing house, in a nice location far away from the noise of the town. Hypermarket is available in 10 minutes by car. A boat or jetski is worth reserving in advance. Real transformation both for adults and kids... Unforgettable vacation.

    Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to...

    Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to Korčula city. Nice to be based for exploring rest of the island and the island Proizd. Remnants of industrial times when the city was in it's peak are visible throughout. Vela Spila is also a must see.

    Location overlooking harbour with large balcony was amazing and we loved watching all the boats come and go. Property was well maintained and had everything we needed for a 9 night stay. Vela Luka and the surrounding area was stunning, with plenty of restaurants and bars and some delicious foods. There is an incredible coastal view path that starts right outside property that would highly recommend.

    Room was quite spacious and comfortable. Bathroom also. Everything was arranged with the good taste. Bed was wide and comfortable. Coffee machine/ kettle was with following supplies, coffee was great, even the design was in the same theme as room 😊. Location great, in the center of Vela Luka. Good restauration of the old house. We really enjoyed staying there.

    Fabulous location. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. Comfy bed and quiet location. The hosts are wonderful. Very helpful with local information and recommendations. Homemade marmalade, fresh figs and lavender bags. What's not to love. Would highly recommend and would definitely return to Vela Luka

    Good location for Vela Luka town. Nice property for 2 people. However, the third member of our party had to sleep on a sofa in the kitchen with no AC or fan, so had a hot night. The host was difficult to contact ahead of our visit which was a bit stressful.
