The apartment is very new and modern. It was really clean and equipped with a modern kitchen, bathroom etc. We had a short stay but loved the place. Everything is well designed and enjoyable. Love the details in the apartment. Liked the location, in the center of the town and the main beach and square is nearby. The host was excellent, very pleasant and helped us a lot with local advice. My recommendation.

Very nice place. We had HB options. They have great vines, though! Try the Cabernet from K??? something that starts with K. Great grilled fish! Unfortunatelym the very same fish everyday, but this was "off season" and we were the "only guests". Hosts are very nice! Breakfast is ENORMOUS! Slivovica reasonable priced.

    Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.

    Vir is a village-style resort with limited infrastructure. While there are several restaurants and cafés, the food offerings are quite repetitive—mostly chips, grilled meats, and common fish dishes, with little authentic Croatian cuisine. Most beaches are rocky, with Lanterna Beach being the only one with pleasant sandy areas in the sea. Some water activities like jet skiing and SUP are available, but rental prices are high.

    Vir in Croatia is now experiencing a huge increase in tourists thanks to new better roads and exciting experiences for visitors. It is important that everyone treats nature and the local people well so that the beautiful island can be enjoyed by future generations too.

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop...

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop PEDESTRIAN ZONE and pavements. Restauranst are OK, however many of them prefer group of 4 and more people and couples have to wait to be seated. There are many supermarkets and bakeries. Do not expect any historical or cultural experience, Vir is more for beaches and sailing.

    Really like this location.

    Really like this location. Although it's an island, it's accessible by car via bridge, which makes car trips around fast and simple (e.g. Nin, Zaton, Zadar). There are lot of good restaurants around, nice, clean beaches, local shops.

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even...

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even with sand and shallow water, a few playgrounds, everything is very close. We enjoyed beach sapavac with shallow water and healing mud the most, but we visited 10 beaches and we loved them all. On the other hand - we were there in october and there was not many people on beaches and everywhere which we loved, I am not sure how we would feel in summer when beaches are full of people. Also a lot of fast foods, shops and bars were closed because the season was over so it was like peacefull village :) It must look very different in summer.

    The apartment is clean, well equipped with modern, comfortable and stylish furnitures. Kitchen and household appliances are also available. The bathroom is also clean and spaceus. American style living room with dining table and kitchen + two bedroom, both with doublebed. There is smaller beach within a short walk, but the center and the larger beach is 7-10 minutes by car. The staff was very gentle and helpful. The apartment is at upstairs, with a balcony at the entrace. It worth the price! Üdvözlet Gárdony városból!

    The owners are very friendly. I have never experienced anything like it. I still have a wonderful feeling about it. The place is absolutely great. Not far from the sea (2min walk). In the evening, it is a 15min walk to the town of Vir for ice cream or dinner. The best holiday in Croatia I have ever experienced. TOP! Thank you for everything!! We will definitely come again!

    We recently stayed at Emko Apartments on the beautiful island of Vir. The location is absolutely fantastic—just a one-minute walk to the sea, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The flat itself was clean, though the bathroom was a bit outdated and not as spotless as we would have liked, but it was manageable.
