We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rooms Dilk. We were welcomed by Marinka, who showed us to our room and made the check-in process really smooth. The room was lovely, perfect for what we needed and was spotlessly clean! Great location, close to the ferry port and everything around is within walking distance.

There is perfect location, almost in the city centre but very quiet, the big car park space, beautiful tarras wit nice view, the apartment is specious and clean. I was delighted being there. If you ever wanted to experience how it is to stay in a traditional dalmatian appartment they are the perfect choice! The room was well supplied with modern conveniences (AC, fridge with freezer, perfect little bathroom). The view from the balcony is stunning! The family that hosted us were the kindest, most awesome people we have met during our stay, all english-speaking! Absolutely one of the best experience of ours was the breakfast: You can order from the menu, and try their mind-blowingly tasty dishes from omelettes through various toasts (avocado, smoked fish) to sweet pancakes and a lot more! And the view from the open-air terrace/square where the breakfast can be eaten is also beautiful (harbour, peninsulas in Vis bay). We always received tips for our stay from the hosts and they were very open and friendly people. If you are staying just a couple of nights or if you plan to stay longer they are the perfect choice! We would give them 11 out of 10 points if that was possible! The location is perfect in the middle of town, every restaurant was within a 15-min-long walk radius. Thank you very much for everything!

Everything was very good. The host is really nice, picked us up at the ferry and gave us a lot of information about the best spots on Vis. Apartment is clean and looks good. The bed is very comfortable.

The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.

Vis is a great place to unplug and relax.

Vis is a great place to unplug and relax. The color of the ocean is mesmerizing and the streets of Vis town, Kut, and Komiza are fun to wander. We enjoyed a boat trip seeing the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and swimming at several beautiful beaches, although the water was still a bit chilly this time of year (on the plus side, the sites weren't crowded). Food and wines are fantastic, and there are so many great restaurants in Kut and Vis. If we'd had more time, we would have scheduled a wine tour as well.

Very pretty island with some nice swimming areas, perfect for chilling. Ample cafés and bars however we found Hotel Issa to offer by far and away the best value for walk in meals Good fun tracking down the Mama Mia locations. Ferry times make it unworkable for a single day trip so you have to factor in 2 nights accommodation Overall impressions 8.5 / 10

Vis is a stunning island and we spent 4 nights here as part of a 4 week trip touring Croatia and its islands. It's the location they filmed Mamma Mia 2. The water is stunning green and is so clear. Vis town is a beautiful spot to stay with the old town Kut being particularly beautiful. We didn't have a bad meal and although it's not particularly cheap it's not as expensive as Dubrovnik. Konoba kantum is a must for authentic Croatian food, Restaurant Pojoda for great seafood and Lambik Bistro for good pizza. Fort George is a great place for a sunset cocktail as it Bistro Frutarija. Vis has beautiful beaches and highly recommend Plaža Zaglav for kids (its worth the walk). Highly recommend a car.

STUNNING island with much to do.

STUNNING island with much to do. I wish we stayed longer to get to travel more of the island, but easy to walk around. Lots of very well behaved dogs walking around no leash. The weather was a bit iffy some days, but we went to Lipanovic winery for a tasting. Its within an old War tunnel. The only one in use on the island (which says a lot because the whole island was used to store war needs for WWII). The wine was really great!

There is enough to do and see with good walking.

There is enough to do and see with good walking. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars and if self-catering there shops and bakers to buy what you need. You can get to parts of the Island by bus and the ferry links are good.

Loved the hospitality of Renata. She made sure that everything met our expectations. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the port of Vis. If you have a lot of luggage, that can be tricky. The walk itself is quite pleasant. It is located on top of a pizzeria with delicious food. Quite some nice restaurants nearby and it is very close to the old town of Kut. There is a scooter/bike rental right next to the hotel as well. Overall, enjoyed the stay very very much.

We stayed for two nights and had a very good experience. The location was good with several restaurants and small markets nearby. There were also plenty of spots nearby to go for a swim. The walk to the «city centre» of Vis was not too far either. Moreover, the people working at Villa Vis were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and they were able to offer gluten free options.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Travelling across five countries this trip, this was my favourite stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and comfortable and beautiful, and the location is perfect. They also provided a brilliant summary of what to do and where to go. I will definitely stay here again.
