People working here are amazing, fun, and kind! We enjoyed hanging out with Dwi, Gina, and talking with other people working in the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful garden in the front and also offers lot of food and delicious fresh juices. We signed up for a 3 day jungle trekking via this hotel and also enjoyed the trekk a lot! Our guide Coco went the extra mile to make sure we are having a great time. If you have a chance ask for Coco as your tour guide and sign up for a longer trekk if you're feeling adventurous!

Alek and Nabil are really great hosts who are Bukit Lawang's second best feature after the orangutans! The balcony has a lovely view out over the river and the location is perfect in amongst the locals.

We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

I did the 2 day/1 night Trek. The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.
