When travelling I prefer to enjoy the place & mix with the...

When travelling I prefer to enjoy the place & mix with the people instead of hopping from one place to another spending hours in a car. Eating where they eat & shopping where they shop instead of “touristic” destinations. I walked around from the house to Ngarai Sianok then Jam Gadang. The weather cooperated throughout my stay, but the crowds were packed due to the town 29th anniversary celebrations. Maybe visiting during mid year instead of monsoon & peak holiday seasons will give more time to enjoy the areas. The costs are friendly to the wallet & even small food stalls around the areas are delicious & representing the traditional dishes.

I highly recommend this place. The resort is surrounded by nature, far from the chaos of the city of Bukittinggi. It’s a beautiful place, built in harmony with its natural surroundings. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is also great, rent a scooter and explore the surrounding areas. You’ll be amazed by the green hills and rice fields. The food is also very good, and all the people working there are kind and helpful

I never rate my stay in the booking before but this one exception. I love my stayed. It reminds me of my grandma house. So comfy. Felt like home. The owner decorated the house so beautifully. Please everyone if you plan to come to Bukittinggi you must stay here!

I enjoyed my stay here. Special thanks to Sapriadi who was very helpful with recommending places to visit, sorting out shuttle booking to Padang and a scooter rental (at great prices too!). The location is excellent for Bukittinggi.
