Sampari Paradise Homestay is in a more isolated location near Dayang Island. The bungalows all have private bathrooms with bucket bathing. The bungalows are simple and well provisioned. Meals were all tasty with large portion sizes, mainly fish at lunch and dinner. The only fruit made available were bananas. Power is on from late afternoon til early in the morning. The is no Telkomsel wifi signal at Sampari Paradise, you will need to catch a 10 min ride into the local village on one of the 3 homestay longboats to get wifi. We took every tour they offered bc this area of Batanta is awesome. Dayang Island is less than 15 mins from Sampari. Manta rays come for cleaning in the bay in front of Dayang Island, we snorkelled for over 1 hr with a group of 3 mantas all 3 to 4 metres in width. We did the waterfalls trip - full day with lunch on Arefi Island. The waterfalls are spectacular and highly recommended. Bring solid shoes as the track can be steep in parts, slippery and muddy. We did another full day trip to Wai Island where we saw a variety of cuscus, bats, coconut crabs, large weaver spiders and jungle trials, then went snorkelling to Kri Reef (not Kri Island), this amazing reef surrounds a small sandbar that just appears in the middle of the ocean, then had lunch on Arun Island, again just a tiny sandbar in the middle of the ocean with a few trees for shade. Outside of high tide, you can walk out 50 to 100 metres in most directions all around Arun Island in waist deep crystal clear turquoise water. The best feature of Sampari Paradise is the homestay owner Olof and his large West Papuan family. English is very limited, so you will need your Translate App. They always have beaming genuine smiles and very willing to provide any assistance to make your stay with them unforgettable. If you bring children on your Raja Ampat trip, they will have a really good time playing all day with Mr Olof’s gang of kids who live at Sampari. I would highly recommend Sampari Paradise

Such an amazing homestay. The room is really just perfect, and you have your own bathroom which is amazing. The food is incredible!! You even get an afternoon snack everyday at 4pm… incredible! The family that runs this homestay is so kind and friendly and their English is really good! I really appreciated their hygiene. Everything is kept in very good condition and super clean. Before checking in we were a bit scared because they don’t have a lot of reviews, but it was such a good choice to come here!! Their tours are also very nice. Totally recommend this place!

We had the best time at Marwes homestay! The house has a beautiful balcony with a private beach and the food is the best we’ve had in Raja Ampat with delicious fresh fish and home baked cake every day :) Erwin is a super host and took us to the waterfall and snorkeling in Wai. Thank you so much Erwin, we will come back one day. Yeehaw!

Staff was super helpful. The private beach and the jetty are the best. Just snorkeling at the jetty is top notch. Standard Rooms are quite good and have AC and private bathroom with shower. The boat is one of the best around the island. Big and safe. Starlink wi-fi 24h. The dining room is a very nice place to be and relax. Food variety, quality and quantity was the best we had in Raja Ampat. We didn't dive but did a snorkel tour with them

My daughter Amanda and her husband enjoyed Agusta and they said: Agusta is a dream. The island is full of untouched life. We were at Agusta for 5 nights for our honeymoon. All the cabins are beachfront, the staff is super friendly and always greet you with a smile. Marco and Mara, the owners, are very dedicated to their island. Mara personally checks every excusion/dive plan the night before with the guides. The food is amazing, breakfast is buffet style. Lunch is usually an italian dish. For dinner you get to choose usually between a seafood dish or a variation of chicken. The only feedback we have is for the salad. Lunch and dinner would always start with a small salad, always green and purple cabbage. It would be awesome to switch it up for a caprese salad or spinach. The guides are very knowledgeable and care about your safety. Our dive guide Olen was amazing, would definitly recommend him. We will be going back!
