Having the animals at the property just makes you out more do the walking trails, experience the wild.. just perfect
The spa area is definitely just one of the best in all of Ireland!! The facilities are just stunning, and the heating pool outside with the views of nature.. amazing..
The bedrooms are super clean, a very large room and I had the balcony with a view of the sheep grazing.. supeeer
The food menus from the room service to the bar or even the breakfast was really good as well, good portions and not expensive

United Arab EmiratesThe lovely Irish welcome from Mary and Bridey as soon as we arrived. A lovely cup of tea in their front room and friendly conversation, we were treated like part of the family as soon as we arrived. The property was clean and the room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything was brand new and well thought out for guests. Bridey made us a lovely breakfast of scrambled egg and nothing was too much or too little to make our one night stay so memorable. The ladies were lovely hosts, and we will be back again to stay for a few more nights at this traditional Irish bed and breakfast.

The hosts are brilliant - really great hosts - invisible until you need them, then super helpful. My car had a flat and the host changed my tyre, rather than me having to call someone out - I was only there for the weekend so this was super helpful. Breakfast was really delicious - properly so

The Hotel had great facilities and walks around the golf...
The Hotel had great facilities and walks around the golf course in the grounds so we did not venture out much. We drove through Ballyconnell on our Way up to Marble Arch Caves which was a 35 Minute drive from the Hotel and is well worth a visit.

Ballyconnell is very small but it's in a naturally beautiful...
Ballyconnell is very small but it's in a naturally beautiful and historical area. There are lovely loop walks around the town and along the river. Do some research beforehand and plan a few stops on route to explore the area (i.e. the Cavan Way, Cavan Burren Park, the various caves and forest parks and lakes nearby). There are some hidden gems and it's well worth it. For most of these, you will need a car though. It's ideal for people who just want to switch off for a few days.

Location staff amenities bedrooms are all great. There was entertainment on both nights. Very friendly homely feel to the Hotel. Quality of food especially vegetables on the night we ate there did not meet expectations for the price we paid in the Conal Cearnach Restaurant.

Firstly, the host Catherine was extremely helpful and welcoming, we were going to a wedding in the Slieve Russell Hotel and she helped us organise taxis too and from the BnB, location was great as it was ten minutes away from the hotel, breakfast was lovely aswell. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Absolutely lovely cabin and maintained to a really high standard. The host was really helpful with any questions or queries.
Really good spot if you want to get away.
Close to Ballyconnell town, which has plenty of amenities, ranging from supermarkets, pubs, and food options.
Also a taxi service if required.

Absolutely loved staying here. So relaxing and everyone we met were so friendly. Loved the gated entrance - made you feel secure. Watching the boats pass up the river was great. The house has everything you need for a self-catering stay and only a short drive into Ballyconnell. Will definitely be back.
