Self-Catering Accommodations in Ballyconnell

Location is peaceful and unique. The cabin is lovely and makes for a good relaxing break. There is no Internet or signal for phone coverage, Not a bad thing. Just need to be prepared. Beds comfortable and place nice and warm, even though it was freezing outside. The host is friendly and communates well ahead of visit.

Amanda and her husband are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. Everything is well thought. It is very comfortable and cosy. Spacious bathroom, large shower, large closet and chest, all is very handy . The boiler room is the icing on the cake: you can hang wet coats and put away wet shoes. We like it when it is practical and it was! The kitchen is very well equipped. We just loved our stay.

The cottage was so pretty with everything in it we needed. The hosts were more than helpful. Will definitely stay there again

The property was enchanting. If you want peace and tranquility and quality time with your chosen ones, this is a perfect place to stay. Cassie has the cabin perfectly kitted out with every possible item you may need, and then some. Comfy cosy beds for a perfect sleep. Bbq facilities, stove fire, and the bedroom balcony made my morning coffee just idilic. We will be back to stay at this cabin again. The sooner the better 🙌

Fantastic stay at Killynick Glamping. Pod was so comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Fabulous sauna, shower and toilet facilities. The board games were great fun. We were so well looked after by Colin and Thomas and even got to meet Hugo the pig and Murphy, Darcy & Nova the gorgeous doggies 😃 Thank you

What can I say we loved it , it had character , amazing location , lake was so calm and relaxing , everything we needed , lots of places on site to use , it was our home from home , Breda was a wonderful host , helping us where we needed it , A relaxing and calming place to stay

We had a lovely stay at Swan Lake Glamping. The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. The location is surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet. The host was very welcoming and kindly provided us with logs and coal for both heating and the barbecue, which was a thoughtful touch and made the stay even more enjoyable. There are a few nice restaurants within a 10-minute drive, so finding good food nearby was easy. The signposts leading to the property were also very clear, making it simple to locate even on our first visit. Overall, a peaceful and relaxing getaway that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a nature escape in Cavan.

Amazing Place. Stayed with family. Very peaceful location by the river with nice walks and views. Lots of games and interesting things for the kids to explore. Treat pack on arrival! Kids rated it 5 (stars), 10 and 17 (out of 10)!! A real gem, one of the best places we have stayed. Thank You!
