Offering ocean views, Allingham Arms Hotel is located in the seaside town of Bundoran, County Donegal. With free WiFi access available in public areas, the property also offers free parking. We had dinner both nights in the Quay-west bar, food was excellent, service was 10/10. Katie is outstanding at her job and really makes you feel at home. Breakfast was also excellent, Piping hot and more than enough. Our bedroom had a sea view that was amazing. Very clean and well layed out. PETER MAC an amazing host that really knows how to treat his guests. Hearing the staff talking so well about the hotel owners, Speaks volumes about them as employers and friends.
This comfortable hostel is set 1640 feet from the beach in Bundoran, Ireland’s surf capital. The lady that ran the place was very accommodating and very nice. She explained everything about the place and was very nice to talk to, very professional and organized.
The food in the Bridge Bar was excellent, and the view of Donegal Bay at sunset is worth going to Bundoran for, just a pity we were not overly excited with our accommodation, but Bundoran is an excellent place to visit.
Bundoran is a lovely little seaside town , everyone is very friendly and lots of families with pets visiting. Plenty of amusements , food and beautiful nature to appreciate. So many magical beaches in Donegal and Sligo to go and explore! We drove to St Johns Point to see the lighthouse and the mini beach located there. We were absolutely blessed with the weather and it was comparable to abroad without the hassle of airports , just load up the car and get out into the fresh air!
Bundoran is a great holiday destination for families. It has both indoor and outdoor amusements. A beautiful beach with an outdoor saltwater pool for the more safety concious. It also has an indoor water park for those rainy days. Most of the hotels a very child freindly and even invite non staying guests to dine and drink there.
Music in 2 or 3 hotels/pubs every night. Beach very closely. People helpful and friendly. Lots to see and do in a 20mile radius .Rossnowlagh beach beautiful and you could drive right on to it and it's only 7 miles away.
The Roguey Cliff Walk is without doubt Bundorans best feature with Maddens B & B/Restaurant equally impressive. Kevin Keown (Bundoran Motors) proved very professional and extremely helpful when we had car problems - worth a visit!!
Bundoran is one of the nicest places in Ireland everywhere I went everyone was so nice, there's a brilliant place in Bundron called the Phoenix Tavern bar and restaurant the food and drinks are excellent brilliant atmosphere staff are very professional and really friendly I would recommend Bundoran 100% really enjoyed my stay.
Maddens was a great place to stay. it was nicely renovated and a cosy place to stay for the night. It was handy to have the bar downstairs for dinner and also for breakfast. both were fantastic by the way. i would recommend it for a visit to bundoran as it was a great place to stay.
This hotel is in the middle of Bundoran so it was handy to get everywhere we needed, The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. The room was much bigger than we thought it would be very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but lovely and very relaxed.
The location is excellent right in the middle of Bundoran and close to all of the local attractions, restaurants and bars. The breakfast 2 out of the 3 mornings we stayed was very good. The view was excellent looking across the Atlantic especially at night.
Very comfortable room, and good meals. Staff were very pleasant. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The bonus for me was that I got to say hello to the owner, Brian McEniff, the great Donegal football manager.
