We had an autumn break, so the attractions were closed,...
We had an autumn break, so the attractions were closed, which suited us. Lovely golden sand and cliff walks made it an ideal place for us. Frequent buses into Ballyshannon, with link buses from there - we just went into Donegal town.

Bundoran is terrific, there is something for everyone and...
Bundoran is terrific, there is something for everyone and for all ages, wonderful walks, Roughey and one side and the West End on the other, great selection of restaurants, we ate in McGarrigle's or got takeaways there most days. Great activities for the children, amusements and beach were favourites

A traditional Irish beach town; fun places - we got lucky...
A traditional Irish beach town; fun places - we got lucky with great weather. A good base for trips to Killeybegs, Ardara, Donegal town, and Giants Causeway/Bushmills. Nearby is Shed's Distillery - a fun time unlike other Distillery tours.

Our first time to visit this lovely location.
Our first time to visit this lovely location. The views across the Bay and inland were out of this world. The New Year activity was just drawing too close. Quality quality quality and most important the hospitality of the people.

The views, beach and walks are stunning.
The views, beach and walks are stunning. Great park run on a Saturday morning. Lots of high quality live music in the local bars. Many restaurants serving delicious food. The Holyrood has a great menu and we also loved Spice Waves Indian. Lots of friendly staff.

Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives during the summer. You could meet anyone from anywhere here. But most importantly all are made to feel so welcome by the general community not just the hoteliers and gift shop owners. I accidentally left my rear passenger door actually open all night outside the Bank House and not a thing was touched!!! This coming from someone who has been a victim of a locked car theft in my own driveway in Loughlinstown Co Dublin….

Very pleasant stay. We booked the hotel very spontaneously while travelling and arrived around 30 minutes later for check-in, which worked perfectly and very smoothly.
The room was large, comfortable and clean. We also had a very tasty dinner in the evening and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The location was also very convenient.
