We were asked to pay an extra 200 euros the minute we walked in. Beware. The explanation was we had to pay for heat and electricity which is usually a given. We were refunded some of the money when we left “after the meter was read”

This is a beautifully restored country house in a quiet country setting with lots of walks around the area yet still close enough to Enniscorthy and other local attractions. The two very large adult bedrooms come with very comfortable king size beds along with two other rooms with single beds. The house is warm and cosy and has a big fireplace with all the wood you need. The host makes sure that everything is perfect and makes himself available if needed. We really appreciated the fresh, local apple pie. Very yummy. The internet is quite fast at around 60 mb/s although we had a couple of outages- one for two hours and the other for about 30 minutes (probably caused by line maintenance). The TV is a large LG unit with access to Disney, Netflix, etc. This farm house has excellent appliances that are well maintained and includes good quality furnishings. The kitchen is very functional as is the laundry. This place would be hard to beat.

The location is amazing, it's right on the bank of a river. It's so calming just to stay outside having some dinner and drinks and enjoying this calmness of water.

Welcome from reception on arrival, professional and efficient yet friendly. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and accommodating, chamber staff warm and friendly. Food was delicious . An ethos of guest first and all staff made our stay exceptional. Definitely a diamond of a place so glad we found it. Second visit and did not disappoint.
