Breakfast excellent. I wished for some attractive garden layout to sit and appreciate nature. Existing outdoor layout fulfils function as reception area for events. Nightly entertainment such as pianist would be welcome, at present just Saturday nights.

Room 214 , we did not like it from the minute we entered. Old wooden floor , sofa stuck in a corner. We stayed here a few yrs ago * a different bedroom was so lovely that we decided to book again . Location was great. Older man behind counter, he wasn't friendly at all .

The property is a beautiful little country house in an equally beautiful location. The hosts and staff are absolutely lovely and most helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and Annette never turned down a request for a cup of tea or a drink at the bar no matter when we asked. Our stay here was genuinely lovely.
