We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!

Tel Aviv is a very nice city with great atmosphere, having everything you need for a multidimensional holiday: the sea and lovely beach for swimming and walking, and lots of fantastic Jewish and Israeli culture: beautiful music at opera and concerts, fascinating small and big museums and wonderful food! And it is just beautiful to walk in Tel Aviv, discovering the lovely streets with charming little museums, cafes and restaurants!

My son and I arrived one day before the recent War started,...

My son and I arrived one day before the recent War started, so this review will focus on the staff and their handling of the situation, rather than more mundane things. Tours and outside businesses were closed but the hostel maintained a normal schedule (including providing Israeli breakfasts and keeping the bar open). When sirens sounded, as they did unpredictably, the staff went to all rooms to make sure that the occupants went to the basement shelters. Beyond that, the staff were proactive and very well trained to identify and help residents who were having problems or were upset and nervous; proactive because they did not wait to be asked for help, but reached out to the residents. The night person (?Aron?) and the bartender Anton were particularly on-the-ball, socializing those who were isolated and keeping a positive tone. When my son got a flight and left early, they gave him a refund, but when I extended my stay by a day because I could not get a flight out, they waived my fee. Crisis certainly reveals character.

Tel Aviv is a great place to visit.

Tel Aviv is a great place to visit. In fact the whole of Israel is a beautiful place. The Israeli people are very helpful when it comes to tourists. You can never be found to be lost in Israel. You can find your way to places you want to visit by just asking. They will take time to explain which bus or tramline to take. That makes travel easy. Avoid taxis which is very expensive. Especially the ones touting at the Airport. They will demand double the actual fare.

    Great place and great beaches.

Great place and great beaches. Although there is a lot of construction work going on in the City which means its very dusty and roads are dug up everywhere you go. I loved the fresh juices, everything is walking distance :-)

Perfect location. Few minutes walking to the beach. Very few minutes walking to the Flea Market where you have many small streets with bars and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood felt very safe and little traffic in the street during the night and also not much during the day. Room was good, bed was good, AC was quiet and good. Balcony was small but seated two people. Double showers are good. Small grocery store in the same building, only few steps away from hotel entrance. When back in Tel Aviv I will stay there again.

well located just off Hayarkon street so a short walk to the beach. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. the rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably sized. There was a free breakfast with drinks, fresh fruit and a cake, which is more than enough to set you up for the day - unusually it was included in the price, which virtually no other hotels do. it was nicely decorated and all in all a perfect boutique hotel to serve as a base for exploring the many things Tel Aviv has to offer

The location was amazing. You have bus stations close by and the beach right across street, there's also parking close by if you bring a car which I did (this is separate from Selina, of course). The food was very reasonable considering Tel Aviv is crazy expensive and the rooms (I'm talking about dorms) come with towel for your face and body, there's body lotion, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The rooftop is hugeeee and the vibes are superb. Overall, it's a hostel with the quality of a hotel.

Great location, 50m from the beach and so close to other must see Tel Aviv places. Amazing stuff, incredibly helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfasts especially for vegetarians, everything was fresh and different every single day, absolutely incredible. Room had everything we needed, everything was super clean and tidy. That was not my first visit in amazing Tel Aviv but I did not expect such a nice and cozy hotel for that price, absolutely special place, definitely gonna come back here .

The lobby from the get-go smelled so fresh and everything I asked for they were so friendly and accommodating. I thought it was a very classy hotel and love that it was right across the street from the beach and the amazing vibe and seen in Tel Aviv. I was able to walk to everything or take a short bus ride. If you’re younger or you can jump on rental scooters that will take you all over. The sunsets were truly amazing beyond belief beautiful and unforgettable

I’ve been to Tel Aviv many times, but I believe that it is one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve seen ever. The location is perfect, close to the beach and also close to the shuk ! Definitely perfect. The staff is quite helpful and very nice. The rooms are wonderful, extremely well decorated, with a great design and top notch equipment. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and attractions. Bus stops are close by for longer trips. Fairly easy stroll to the beach. We booked a 2-bedroom suite and we’re amazed at how much space we had! Very spacious (for Tel Aviv) open concept living/dining. Hotel is family friendly. They have cribs available for an extra fee. The crib is a mini crib but still big enough for my large 2 year old.

The hotel is customer friendly with a big lobby and spaces for interactive activities. Our double room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was pretty good, even though I would have liked a little more variety and some fruits. Otherwise the food is good and fresh and for sure you can find something to eat in the morning. The location is nice close to a park and like 10 mins walking to one of the Tel Aviv beaches.

Perfect, nice small hotel right on Dizengoff, near restaurants, shopping, the beach and other good places. The rooms and beds were spotless. Thanks to double windows, there is no street noise, the AC takes care of the climate. Thankfully also, there were no party crowds and no noisy people at all at the hotel, even during the weekend. All in all, a perfect place to stay in Tel Aviv.

Definitely one of the best locations to stay in Tel Aviv! The room number 01 was great - spacious, quiet, with air conditioning and a private kitchen. We rented the bicycles from the hotel twice and it was the best decision ever - to get to the beach and ride around the city, considering that there are bike lanes everywhere.
