Many families visiting Tel Aviv loved staying at Levinski Market Hotel, Ink Hotel, and Backstage Hotel - an Atlas Boutique Hotel.
Renoma, Melody Hotel - an Atlas Boutique Hotel, and The Setai Tel Aviv got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Tel Aviv.
The city is good. Just like Mumbai of India or Bangkok of Thailand. Not too clean and shops are also like of those cities. Not like European way. Shop owners charge £6 for 500 ml water sometimes. Try to buy food and water from super markets. Try to visit other city in Europe if you can.
Tel Aviv is lovely and expensive. Come prepared to drop a dime. Real estate is expensive as is food. Not sure if related to surcharges after corona or security measures in place, but it is definitely more expensive in all levels. Traveling on bus is doable however, within each city learn to take the bus to cut down on cost.
The first impression when goin out of HaHagana railway station is that the city is dirty, as in lots of stains on the sidewalks. There are also places with old and neglected buildings, but after a while you can see the charm of the city: lots of different areas, each with its own characteristic. A wide boulevard with a lane for strolling in the middle, with trees and small food shops, another area with modern buildings, the Florentin neighbourhood with lots of street art and small restaurants and pubs, the old town of Jaffa/Yafo with narrow streets, old architecture and lots of art galleries, a park here and there with wonderful bougainvillea flowers, clean and shiny malls, food markets with colourful stalls, museums and good food.
This was SUMMER in Tel Aviv - sweltering hot during the day and mild at night. If you come in July or August, the best game plan is to rise early, go to the beach and enjoy until it gets too hot, retreat to your accommodations for lunch and a long siesta and then go out again in the evening. Tel Aviv is hopping in evening at at night until very late - which makes sense given the impossiblity of doing anything in mid-day. While Tel Aviv has all the amenities of any big city, it does have some special features. First, it has a "neighborhood" feel to it - people talk to each other, wave to friends in the are. It seems very safe. Second, Tel Aviv is a very LGBTQ-friendly city. Rainbow flags everywhere. If gays bother you, don't go to Tel Aviv. If you like the ambience of smart and quirky people - which fits a lot of LGBTQ people- then this is the city for you. Reminds me of San Francisco that way. I'm not gay but have a lot of friends who are, and I like their tolerant and amused view of the world. So I feel comfortable with the people in Tel Aviv. Third - while Tel Aviv is the most expensive city in the world - really - it is using a lot of that money for renovation. The "White City" Bauhaus and Art Deco buildings especially are getting restored. The White City is a UNESCO World Heritage site and walking around looking at these restored homes and commercial buildings - occupied and working , not museum pieces - is a real joy. I remember these as sad decaying slums and cheer to see what is happening there now.
Tel Aviv is a city steeped in history and has a lot to offer for those who like a mixture when traveling. From our hotel, it was a 20min walk into the old town of Jaffa. Food is amazing and highly recommend doing the Jerusalem tour with Dr Haim.
Everything was great! The time spent there, will always remain in my heart. I recommend the lovely rooftop restaurant in Jaffa and unforgettable walks by the sea at night. Tel Aviv is for me: wonderful people who were helpful in every situation.
the hotel was beautiful, with lots of very modern amenities, clean and great space per room. The location was also great, with walking distance to the Tel Aviv’s main squares and beaches. I’d also like to compliment the staff, who were very friendly and helpful with anything you needed. finally, they offer a bike which you can rent for free for a couple of hours to cycle around the city, which was a great experience to visit some of the main places while watching the sunset - amazing experience!!
Location was excellent. Rooms are very nice, the whole hotel is stylish and nicely designed/decorated. The hotel is very new so staff was not 100% polished but everyone was very nice and helpful. We did not have breakfast so we can't comment on that. The room was large for Tel Aviv, the bed was comfortable and the shower facilities are nice. Prices are on the lower side for the quality of the hotel relative to Tel Aviv prices, but not cheap by any means.
Everything was outstanding at this hidden boutique gem in the funky part of Tel Aviv. Very acommodating and highly professional staff, a beautiful, comfortable and stylish rooms. A superb European style cafe serving up delicious bakleries. Whow. what a wonderful surprise this was. LOCATED IN A COOL DISTRICT IN TEL AVIV AND CLOSE TO THE BLUE BEACH, I REALLY DO RECOMMEND THIS DIAMOND TO ANYONE WHO APPRECIETS ALL OF THE QUALITIES THIS QUAINT HOTEL WILL PROVIDE.
All of the above features. The in-house restaurant, "Yamas" is superb. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location is superb right near the beach but also not far from the main drags such as Dizzengoff. The hotel provides one of the best Israeli breakfasts I have had. The controls on the room air conditioner actually work and it was possible to keep the room at a comfortable level of coolness (not sub-Arctic as is the case at some places).
The Hotel was perfect: the staff were kind and the manager very helpful and attentive. Me and my children especially enjoyed the location because the beach is 5 minutes away (hotel provides beach towels), so is the carmel market, hotel is surrounded by cozy breakfast and lunch places. If you are going for a beach holiday - this hotel is great choice in Tel Aviv. Almost forgot! We lived on 6th floor and the views through our room's window were amazing!
I had the most amazing experience at BY14. The location was perfect, the room super clean, modern and the bed very comfortable. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible. I was there with my husband for pride and they sent fruits to our room. They are located just 2 blocks away from the beach and the view from the gym at the 11th floor is just breathtaking. If anyone is considering a good place to stay in Tel Aviv, look no further!
The location of the Dizzengoff Garden Hotel is perfect. Being near so many restaurants and shops is a lot of fun. And walking to the beach or the Art Museum, or anything else one wants to see in Tel Aviv is so easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, albeit quite small. But we were in the room only to sleep, so that was fine. We'd definitely stay there again.
The hotel was extremely cute and well designed. There was no view or balcony which I always like, but it was very well located and we walked almost everywhere, mainly a center street and the beach. The staff was friendly all the time. Considering that Tel Aviv is rated at the most expensive city in the world, I thought it was expensive but everything is expensive in Tel Aviv.
Location is brilliant, at the intersection of Carmel Market (must visit), Allenby & Sheinkin Streets - under 10 mins walk to the beach, restaurants and shops everywhere. Rooftop pool and sun deck is a rare commodity in boutique hotels in Tel Aviv Nice touch to have almonds and bottle of alcohol in our room. Cool vibe around the hotel. Staff are friendly.
Tel Aviv
Is not a myth that tel aviv is a expensive place. And for the the price this hotel is an excellent option. The room was clean, equipped with dishwasher, mini fridge, glasses, plates, even an electric oven. The location is amazing, you have a lot of restaurants around the apartment an almost in front a supermarket. Its like 8min walk to the beach.
The Herods Tel Aviv is a great location right on the beach as well as a hotel pool. the business lounge was a plus especially on Saturday afternoon. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Managers Karen and Daniel provided extra care over Shabbat. Yona at the front desk was very helpful.
The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect to access the beach and any points of interest around Tel Aviv. The guest rooms are updated and very clean. It was a very good value for the price and recommend it for a nice stay in Tel Aviv. Thank you!
Just nice place to stay for short period of time. I like Tel Aviv and Central Hotel is near US embassy, very safe area, for safety, its the best place to stay, very close to the beach, Front desk old man was very nice, and the young guy is also very nice. I cant complain at all
Fantastic hotel. Phenomenal location, very spacious and stylish rooms w/thoughtful touches, boutique atmosphere, quaint roof-top and common areas, and incredibly helpful staff (thanks Jenya!). By far the best hotel experience i've ever had in Tel Aviv.
My mother and I really liked and enjoyed our one-night stay at the great Dream Beach Hotel Tel Aviv. The staff were absolutely friendly and amazingly helpful! We also liked our big enough and perfectly clean room with its perfectly comfortable beds!
Great boutique hotel, very unique, yet modern and luxury. Up Incoming neighborhood, somewhat hip, near the beach. Big rooms and shower. Very very nice and helpful owner! A little gem in Israel - definitely will visit again.
if you are looking for an inexpensive short stay near Tel Aviv beach, this can be a great alternative to traditional big hotels. The staff was very friendly and responsive. a/c worked efficiently and silently.
One of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in Tel Aviv! Don’t miss out
Excellent location - close to Carmel market, many restaurants. and only 15-20 min walk to beaches. Staff very friendly, accommodating, helped with questions and always available. Quaint atmosphere, rooms can be small but luxuriously equipped with amenities, some have balconies! Open-air rooftop terrace with lounging chairs and view of city skyline. Top line (industrial!) Nespresso machine and fresh water greet you in the foyer Close to pick-up places for Ben Hiram tours of religious sites. I would return!
Fantastic hotel with extraordinary location in Tel Aviv, where you could be in the entrance of Jaffa with very nice restaurants and sunset and at the same time close to the beaches in Tel Aviv The rooms are quite comfortable with a fantastic view over the sea (the pool location is amazing) Huge variety breakfast with a very attentive and supportive staff (which is not so normal in Israel) Free wifi everywhere
