Honestly, Bhimtal doesn't have much in itself.
Honestly, Bhimtal doesn't have much in itself. It can be considered as a peaceful sied location or getaway from the busy Nainital. Most people take a day trip to bhimtal while staying in nainital. However, we did the opposite. Since stays are cheaper, we stayed in Bhimtal and took day trips to Nainital, Kainchi Dham and Mukteshwar. Bhimtal is very peaceful, and has a few lakes with boating and basic activities. All major places are about 1 hr away. You can definitely plan for a peaceful and relaxing holiday here.Guest review byRachitIndia - 4.0

Incase you are expecting this to be a proper hill station then u r wrong, this is more of village with few good options to stay and few good restaurants. One of the good hotel where u can stay is Sarovar Portico.
