Overlooking Djupivogur Harbour, Hotel Framtid is 8 km from Búlandstindur Mountain. It offers local seafood specialities, a bar and free private parking. Staff was very nice. I remember they have open the restaurant almost just for us. Love the wood in the room and the bedroom view. Comfortable bed.
Boasting a garden, Krákhamar Apartments provides accommodation in Djúpivogur area with free WiFi and sea views. With mountain views, this accommodation features a terrace. Like most Icelandic lodgings, you are well positioned to see the landscape. The accommodation is open all over the place, so the view is good. Each accommodation is in its own form, so privacy is guaranteed. We couldn't meet, but the host was very kind enough to tell us how to use the accommodation. It was very nice to stay warm during my stay. The next time I visit Iceland, I want to stay there again.
Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. It was a luck of us but we were all alone in hostel and it was very quite and comfortable. Everything was great.
Featuring a harbour-view restaurant, Framtid Camping Lodging Barrels offers pet-friendly accommodation in wooden camping pods in Djúpivogur. Free private parking is available on site. The design of the barrel is really smart, nice surrounding with great view

Nice place to visit! Small town with everything you need - swimming pool & hot pools, restaurant with good beer, nice view of the harbour, mineralogical curiosities (JFS Handcraft, Eggs at Gleðivík Bay), nice and friendly people!
This is a small fishing town with a beautiful harbor, nice hotel and good camping facilities. The art installation of stone eggs is a local attraction and the Monsters and Men museum is a charming collection of stones, bones, and artifacts run by a local who is happy to chat with visitors. Black and light sand beaches within walking or a short drive.
A peaceful haven at the edge of Iceland, Djúpivogur is a typical coastal town with a small harbor and a quiet, comfortable vibe. Add that to the availability of essential amenities (including several hotels, cottages, and small restaurants, a gas station and grocery stores), and this could be a perfect base for your expedition to the Eastfjords.
Djúpivogur is a beautiful village with charm. Everything is within walking distance and it is well worth it to have a look around. The art work of renouned artist Sigurður Guðmundsson, Eggin í Gleðivík, is a great addition to the old harbour area.
Beautiful fishing town. Nice friendly people. We stay just one day but we wish to have more time to stay. We are in the winter and covered by beautiful snow :-) but I would love to come back in summer, must be so beautiful too!
Djúpivogur is a great place to stop on your way around Iceland. I always love looking at the eggs on the harbour. The town is very small and cozy, it feels very nice to be there and everyone is very friendly
