I stayed in Cottage #1 with two friends, and it was a perfect base of operations for some exploration in the southern parts of Iceland. The setting is lovely and quiet, the cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We made use of the kitchen in the cottage, so did not purchase the breakfast that was available in the guesthouse, but it was nice to have that option.

The guy at the reception, the young ladies in the bar and restaurant are very friendly, helpful and professional ones. The hotel has a very big parking place. Even the hotel has an own restaurant, but not too far from the hotel you find other opportunities as well. The location of the hotel is good for Polar Light hunters. :-)

Lodging in Iceland is expensive, but this was a great little room with a well-stocked kitchenette, clean and well-kept, with comfy beds and close to a restaurant and a market. It's an easy drive to some great sites—about halfway between Reyk and the main South Iceland attractions.

Our family of 5 did not want to leave! So very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing. All amenities and supplies were fabulous. Super cute loft and bunk for kids. Relaxing…off the beaten path. Probably one of the most amazing views in Iceland from the living room/kitchen window.

Large, clean, and very comfortable cabin with excellent kitchen facilities - great for when you need a break from restaurants. Beautiful property. Nothing like relaxing on the couch or in bed watching the horses and the ever changing Icelandic weather. Our favorite place.

Rental is a full house lost in the Icelandic countryside, surrounded by horses. Beautiful view of Vestmannaeyjar from the house. Very quiet and practical with three bedrooms, a bathroom and a big living room and kitchen. I recommend it :)

The view from the hotel was amazing. There is a beautiful mountain behind it. The towel and sheets were very cool. The room was little bit small but it was enough for us. There are two dogs, they were so kind and smart.

The breakfast was excellent, really the best one during this trip and it was included. We had to pay close to $20 per person in some places and it wasn't as good as the one in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, unique, great service. Very comfortable beds and Rooms. Location perfect mid point between Reykjavik and jokulsarlon. Beautiful stables.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area, the breakfast was more than fine and the staff was so nice. I really recommend this place if you are around.

Beautiful scenery, basic kitchen supplies, great location for touring around south Iceland, including Westman Islands. Comfortable beds.

Different stay in wonderful surrounding area. All you need for a short stay while exploring Iceland.

Sauna and hot tub are a great addition. Style of the hotel is great too!
