Set in 2 historic buildings in Seydisfjördur village, this accommodation offers bright and individually decorated rooms with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Nice historical building with a sweet and warm interior design. Very nice and kind service at the Reception Desk and during breakfast time in the restaurant.
Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers bright rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hostel. Helpful staff, big kitchen, sauna, walkable location. The view was great, and they also had a washer and dryer to use for a fee.
Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the fjord with great views. Right in the centre of the town, but super quiet. Check-in was straightforward with the keys ready for us to collect. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building offers accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Located in the harbour, perfectly yellow and Icelandic. Inside comfortable facilities and super cosy living room. Great experience.
Seydisfjordur was a picture perfect village. We ate at two of the restaurants and the food was delicious. We enjoyed a local hike. And being fans of "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" we enjoyed seeing the filming locations in this town.
A small town of the beaten path that is just lovely. Our only problem is that we didn't have enough time to explore the town and surrounding area. We would have added a second night if we had the chance to do it again.
Beautiful small town tucked away in the fjords of iceland. We loved it here. However, we also love small towns. If you are looking for a bustling town, this might not be for you. I'm sure it gets busier in the summer though.
We were driving the perimeter of Iceland and this was a location picked based on mileage. I was not sure exactly what a fjord was. This is a spectacularly beautiful area. A quaint little town where everything is within walking distance. You can drive to the ends on both sides of the water. The place we stayed was right below the waterfall. There are lots of hiking trails.
The fjord was really pretty, views from the road in & out are stunning. Has a reasonable choice of places to eat & some cute local businesses / art studios. Was a peaceful place to stop for a night in the Eastfjords, everything in town is walking distance apart. Unless you’re planning on lots of walks in the area, I’d say 1-2 nights is just right.
Lovely little town in a fjord in east Iceland. There is a lot of charm and a vibrant art scene. I only visited Skaftfell bistro, which was very good, but there seemed to be a lot of good restaurant choices, including the "best sushi bar in Iceland" according to many.
We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the fjord with great views. Right in the centre of the town, but super quiet. Check-in was straightforward with the keys ready for us to collect. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice historical building with a sweet and warm interior design. Very nice and kind service at the Reception Desk and during breakfast time in the restaurant.
Check-in was quick and easy. Host was very nice. Apartment is spacious. Parking is on property, so very convenient.
