Hotel Rocce Azure Review We stayed in this beautiful family run hotel for 4 nights. A great base for exploring all the Aeolian Islands from. We were touched by the kindness and generosity of all the staff, (In particular the gregarious owner Adriano, Frederico who treats you like royalty at each meal and Francesco and Jessica to name a few). The rooms are spacious and meticulously cleaned by a lovely lady every morning and towels replaced as needed. On our first day our ferry from Milazzo was delayed by several hours and we arrived at the hotel at 2330hrs. Even tho the kitchen closes at 2130hrs the staff had stayed behind to serve us a delicious meal. On another occasion our ferry from Stromboli was late returning and despite the fact the kitchen had just closed they prepared a three course meal. On all occasions this hotel goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The balcony view looking out over the bays azure water & boats is delightful. The food is delicious and the 3 course menu changes each night. All meals are served on a balcony with magical views over looking the bay. The hotel basks in sun all day and there is a platform with numerous lounge chairs and easy access to swimming. The hotel is situated an easy short walk from the town of Lipari. The hotel is very quiet and we are so glad we stayed here. We would highly recommend this hotel to all travellers who are looking for a very special experience.

Very well placed around Piazza San Cristoforo, Canneto, 15 minutes ride from Lipari historical centre, this small boutique hotel it’s placed inside a beautiful typical aeolian house two steps from the beach. Everything it’s clean, quiet and comfortable. Francesca picked us up at the port and brought us to the hotel and back, service included in the rate. Breakfast is very good with an assortment of parties and salty things. The overall experience was super chill and welcoming. Super recommended.

A beautiful and spacious apartment with outstanding views over the sea and some of the neighbouring islands (a sea-facing apartment is a real plus in this location). Giovanna was very helpful and flexible and determined to ensure that we had a great stay. She is clearly someone who cares about her guests. Acquacalda is a great location if you are after a beautiful and tranquil spot for a restful holiday.

The location was amazing and the rooms were equipped with everything. Someone cleaned the room every day. Beautiful house with a stunning view, perfect for relaxing. A bus stop right outside the house will take you directly to Canneto and/or the city centre. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find a small shop stocked with all the essentials, as well as two lidos where you can enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Acquacalda.
