Super cool place to stay at the very heart of Firenze. Duomo just around the corner, facilities are super new and overall super comfy. Amenities are nice, and they can keep your luggage after checkout time. Overall it’s a great deal for the price. Definitely recommended.

Our junior suite took us by surprise by how spacious and beautiful it was. Despite being on the first floor, there was little to no noise heard from the busy street making our sleep very pleasant. The location was a huge plus as it was only around 10-15mins by foot to the major museums in the center. The water pressure and the heating system were great. Breakfast had a good selection of food and snacks.

The breakfast is great, a lot of choices and the food delicious! The ubication is fantastic. Most important places are walking near from La Gemma. But the best of all is the people working at La Gemma, always trying to be helpful and kind. All of us my wife and our friends felt like home. Unfortunately, we had to leave to continue our travel!

The hotel is very clean and new, including bed linens and towels. Nice toiletries, room slippers and bath robe. Complimentary coffees, teas and waters on the first day. Located in a quite street, is near main interest points (10 to 25 minutes walking), 10 minutes from main train station and T2 tram from the airport. City buses stops also near (we used mostly the C2). The inconvenience of not serving breakfast turned out to not be a problem as there is a great patisserie 3 min away (Gamberini). They have a room to leave your luggage before/ after check in/out. Would stay here  again!

1. Location - walking distance to the train station and to the churches we wanted to visit. Near to cafes, restaurants and a convenience store. 2. We booked the heaven room so the room was in white, clean colors and even had a small balcony. The room was very clean plus the first round of refreshments in the mini fridge was free to consume. 3. Water for the shower easily heats up. You don't waste water by letting it run to heat up. 4. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly especially Mhervee and Maria, the same compliment goes to the two ladies manning the cafe. 5. I liked that the liquid handsoap, shampoo and lotions were in 500ml amber pump bottles so you don't have to scrimp to feel clean and pampered.

The staff was really helpful and I felt as home in there. The room was big and spacious, breakfast was great, location amazing and safe. The receptionist would always greet us with a smile. Great hotel!

It is a small city but conveniently located to where you...

It is a small city but conveniently located to where you want to be without all the people. You can easily walk into the center from the property. There is a Coop grocery store within 3 minutes drive, if that long. Florence takes about 10 minutes by car and you are in the city - not center but city. There are several parking garages in the center - google before you go or you may not find them. Greve in Chianti is a beautiful drive - vineyards and olive groves, winding hairpin curves - 30 minutes and you can keep following the trail.

Nice little town just outside of Florence and many other...

Nice little town just outside of Florence and many other nice points of interest in driving distance. Just keep in mind that there is only 1 (maybe 2) restaurants in Antella. We ate 1 time early at Bangerang di Niccolo Berni but we noticed that all tables from 19:30 already had been reserved.

Antella is a small town outside of Florence.

Antella is a small town outside of Florence. While we enjoyed everything about Antella, ate at two of the best restaurants during our entire visit to Italy, Pizza Bomba, hands down best pizza and Staccia Burrata. Seemed to be mostly locals in this area, which was great. The distance, while I thought was shorter, took 45 minutes by bus to Florence each day.
