Exceptional location, right in the center of Florence, in the immediate vicinity of the Duomo. All major sights are within walking distance in just a few minutes. The hotel rooms are renovated and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided us with all the necessary. The hotel does not offer breakfast options, but this does not diminish the overall excellent impression. I definitely highly recommend it.

Essence Hotel was very conveniently located at Piazza della Indipendenza which was 10-20 minutes walk from all major tourist attractions. There were bus stops nearby the hotel that allows you to travel easily to any major attractions sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to eat. We stayed there during New Year's Eve to catch fireworks away from the crowd and the room we got did not disappoint. We were treated to a wonderful sight of fireworks. The windows in the room is quite soundproof, so you won't be disturbed by the noise from streets. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return.

A pleasant surprise to discover that the boutique hotel was designed by Roberto Cavali. The beautifully appointed lounge, with a lovely view of the river, was at once intimate and a welcoming milieu in which to chat with other guests, whether over a delicious breakfast or drinks in the evening. Staff was extremely helpful. An easy walk to the town centre but calm and quiet location.

What a wonderful stay for me and my dog. Super friendly staff, tasty breakfast and comfortable rooms. I stayed one extra night because it was that nice. The room was ready at check-out of the previous room, which was so kind that I did not have to wait for check-in time. 😇 The facilities are good, airco works well and it is super dark when you close the blinds. It smells amazing and is really clean. The location is great! You can walk everywhere and it is quiet, even though you are close to the station. There are a lot of great food options around you also. I would absolutely 💯 book again!!! Special thanks to the amazing Maria, wonderful woman. ❤️
