We loved this place! The centuries-old building has been lovingly restored with great attention to every detail. The rooms are large, lovely and quiet, and each has a large bathroom with a fabulous shower. Everything feels timeless and peaceful. Owner and hostess, Chiara, is similarly wonderful -- she went out of her way to provide us with details about the many surrounding things to see -- highlights include Arqua Petrarca and nearby Padua, with its 10 centuries of frescos and mother-of-them all botanical garden at the University. Homemade breakfast highly recommended. The villa immediately adjacent to the inn has also been restored: if you're lucky, Chiara will show you the stunning rooms. Great place for a celebration!

This place is a hidden gem near the beautiful colli euganei. The house is surrounded by nice gardens and views on the countryside. The whole place is really beautiful with high ceilings and paintings that make it unique. It is comfortable, super clean, very good breakfast and the hosts are very friendly and communicative. I would go back any day.

I am definitely going back to Borgo Sabbionara! The room with the ensuite bathroom was lovely, a glass door opening on the precious garden. Perfectly clean and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful, full of flowers and green grass. There are comfortable chairs to sit and relax in the fresh air with a coffee, and even a barbecue to enjow summer evenings outside. A nice breakfast included and the coffee was very good!!! Everyone was welcoming and kind!!!
