The hotel is in an amazing location with exceptional views particularly at sunset . Everywhere in the village where the hotel was located was very pretty particularly around the church. There was 2 good bars nearby and 2 good restaurants well priced . We could see mount Etna from our bedroom window. The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean and also had under floor heating which was nice . Breakfast was ok with enough choice

I lead Exclusive Sicily Tours and I am always looking for awesome places all over Sicily. Baroon Bistrot is a sweet B&B in the center of town. I love the way it's decorated (with excellent taste) and it's squeaky clean. What's important to me is location, cleanliness, food, and service. Baroon Bistrot hits the mark on every single one. The really nice owner, Stefano, was born and raised in Polizzi Generosa and after being abroad for several years, came back to his roots. I LOVE it when Sicilians come back to Sicily and invest and believe in Sicily. He opened a B&B and downstairs has a restaurant since he is a Chef 👩‍🍳. Delicious 🤤 food with local ingredients. A couple sitting next to us was telling me they drove 2 hours just to have dinner there and that they do this very often. It’s their favorite restaurant. Stefano provides beautiful itineraries! Picking Chestnuts 🌰 , wild mushrooms 🍄, cooking 🥘 classes, visiting farms to see how they make fresh ricotta cheese 🧀 and olive 🫒 oil. And you get to stay in his B&B. This is as authentic as it gets. This is Sicily. Highly recommend this B&B for anyone staying in Polizzi Generosa or surrounding areas.

We loved the hospitality of the hosts and the farm. A very special thanks to Mario, who made us a great itinerary for the rest of our trip. The dinner was homemade and made with the products from the farm: very fresh and tasty. The family shows us around, and I could spend some time with the horse and the puppies. Beautiful. We loved our 2 night Chriatmas stay, evwrything was perfect and the room was lovely and warm. The German lady who was working thwre couldnt have done more for us, she was so helpful, friendly and interesting. We loved the breakfast and the location was perfect. Next time we will come when the pizzeria is open!!
