Charming town and very walkable location. We ate at Trattoria da Salvatore as recommended by our host, and had two lovely dinners there. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Everything was very clean. While in Petralia, we hiked to the top of Pizzo Carbonaro, which was terrific! Highly recommended, and Petralia Soprana is a great base for exploring the Madonie Mountains.

With mountain views, Il Castello is situated in Petralia Sottana and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden and outdoor fireplace.

Great mountain hotel in lovely village which is great to wander around, and a good base for hiking. Our room was lovely, very comfortable with a great shower! Breakfast was outstanding - a really great selection of everything you could want, like freshly sliced crusty bread, eggs, cheeses, jam, croissants, lovely tea and coffee, and all served with a warm and friendly smile!
