If you are looking for a rustic holiday farmhouse, this one was awesome. The wonderful hospitality from the family members including Carlo ,Maria ,Elisabeth & Pirro was remarkable. This place is a little over an hr from Fuimicino Airport and if you need to go to the Vatican , just park for free outside Vetralla train station , decent wifi , Awesome pool , fruit trees all around including walnut , Fig ,Apricots ,etc.Parking was inside the farmhouse and next to our room.Would hope to be back again .The family also provided us with fresh fruits , Cold drinks and sweets .We treasured the wonderful memories made here, including the horses grazing on the farm. The home had great authentic household items which were used centuries ago. There was also a cooking range , Cooking Grill, etc. The family also accommodated us for early check-in and late checkout.

Great! It's perfect for pilgrims hiking the Via Francigena. The location is excellent. Communication with the hosts was easy, fast and clear. And we really appreciated that they facilitated an early check-in, as we wanted to avoid the afternoon heat.

I can't believe what a gem we discovered. It's a family-owned Italian home set in the middle of a hazelnut grove, with two wonderful dogs that are always asking for a pat. A path through the trees leads directly to the lake, there is plenty of shade on hot days, and the views are simply heavenly. As a bonus, the owner has a room filled with musical instruments that guests can use, and the whole house has the charming atmosphere of a traditional grandmother's home.

Offering city views, All'ombra del Duomo is an accommodation situated in Vetralla, 19 km from Villa Lante and 33 km from Bomarzo - The Monster Park.
