A wonderful hotel in a very pleasant and cozy Fiesole. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 7-minute walk from the bus stop in the city center. There is a supermarket not far from the hotel. A very pleasant and responsive owner of the hotel, to whom we turned several times for help and advice on tourist places. The breakfasts are simple, but there is enough in excess not to feel hungry until lunch. It is very cool that there are restored old furniture in the rooms, this only adds to the charm of the villa.

The view from the room was beautiful. We woke up to a view of beautifully landscaped valleys stretching all the way to the city of Florence in the distance. All the breakfast items were excellent and included fresh apricot juice and local preserves.

The room was large and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the balcony was very good, and above all, Tommaso is very cheerful, and a kind person, gives us information about the town. It's around 5-10 minute walk to the town centre and a supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. There is also good bus access to Florence. Next time we come to Florence, we will stay here again.

Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.

Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany.

Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany. This small hill top town is a peaceful place to stay outside Firenze. The best restaurant is Has an outdoor terrace it’s on the right as you arrive into the piazza. The hotel we stayed at was FH55 villa Fiesole. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fiesole is a small, peaceful town just above Florence, where you can take in incredible views of the city and the rolling Tuscan hills. It’s the kind of place where time slows down—a quiet walk, a coffee in a sunny piazza, ancient ruins tucked between trees. The local museum, right next to a Roman amphitheater and Etruscan remains, is small but full of character—just enough to give you a sense of how deep the history runs here. It feels local, lived-in, and just far enough from the crowds to breathe.

The countryside of Fiesole is beautiful.

The countryside of Fiesole is beautiful. Hotel and needs updating. Some damp on walls in bedroom, a/c has to be climatized by reception and is on a timer. Windows in bedroom too high to get so unable to open them. We had to sleep with our main bedroom door open one night as it was hot and stuffy. Pool area was lovely, despite no bar anywhere nearby you have to walk up to main building to get drinks or snacks which have to be paid then. Basically no tab!! Only positive thing was the fish restaurant up the road, highly recommend this it was a fantastic meal!! We booked this hotel as a pit stop as we were heading down south from Croatia. Didn’t realise it was a 2* and definitely not 2* prices. Way overpriced if so. Expected something much better for the proscenium we paid.

Fiesole is a picturesque town within the hills of Tuscany, it has excellent transport links to the city of Florence, and hiking routes for those that love walking. There are good restaurants, although we found getting a taxi back to our hotel in the evening sometimes a problem. Despite restaurant staff trying to call for us. The view point with views over Florence is spectacular.

The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL! View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

Excellent communication from the host. So close to the bus stop into florence and lovely to come back in the evening and have food and drink in a local village and escape the crowds in the centre. Real authentic little room with a nice terrace for the evenings. Mother and daughter from Ireland and felt v safe in fiesole

A lovely modern apartment with good access to Florence for sightseeing. The apartment was very clean and fully met our expectation. The sunset view of the surrounding area from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment is close to the main square and has some nice little restaurants along the street.

Location was good, the end stop of Bus 7 is about 1.5km walk from the hotel. Fiesole is very nice, the air is fresh on the top of the hill, compare to the air in Florence in the waley. After 20-22000 steps every day in the town, sitting in the terace with lemon trees is very nice.
