BahrainThe property is stunning!! Very beautifully decorated and the location is right in the center of the castle walls. Lari is a historic town and well worth a visit. The room is very comfortable and the bed was heaven to sleep in. It's also very peaceful and quiet and the view in the morning is breathtaking. Top value for money and I would stay here again any time. One of the hidden gems in Tuscany!!

The staff, Mrs. Carlota that greeted us and showed us the place, was an amazing woman. So nice, welcoming and friendly. The place is so so beautiful, so quiet. It feels so calming to your soul and safe. The castle is amazing. Beautiful room, clean, beautiful pool and view. Also the food, breakfast was so tasty and fresh. The waiters as well were very hosting. Also thank you to Mrs. Laura, who together with Mrs. Carlota and the team, helped me plan my proposal to my girlfriend which turned out so so , beautiful and romantic. Also thank you to Mrs. Laura for capturing the amazing moment. Thankful to both of them for arranging the romantic spot, the bouquet and the candle. Many thanks to them and also to the waiter that recently joined their team (apologies for not knowing the name) for his unwavering friendliness and generosity. All of it, was a trip that will be in our memories and we can't wait to be back and hope very much to see the same people again since they were really incredible people. Thank you to everyone and also to the owners/managers of the castle that we haven't met, for having such an incredible place and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The hosts are super attentive, always ready to help, truly special people with beautiful hearts.
The house is lovely, the view is stunning and the place transmits a lot of peace.

Lari really is a hidden gem in the Tuscan hills.
Lari really is a hidden gem in the Tuscan hills. A hill-top village complete with a castle, lots of back streets to explore, restaurants/bars...and 360 degrees breathtaking views! And not overtaken by tourists even like some other towns in the area are. Centrally located too - just 25 minute drive from Pisa airport, and 20 minutes drive to the coast. I'll be back!

Everything is great
A wonderful villa. Ideal for a trip for two or a large family or a group of friends. Four separate bedrooms. Large well-kept territory. A gorgeous closed veranda where you can have breakfasts, lunches and dinners. If you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you need and even more. Excellent location. Close to Florence, Pisa, Lucca. Francesca and Lia are responsive and sensitive to your wishes and requests.

Everything was well thought and accessibile.
The owner helped us at every occasion, giving us overall a fantastic experience.
The pool and garden are clean, modern and well organized.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and recently renewed.
I would definitely stay at Ciliegia di Lari again and I cannot recommend it enough :)

Excellent views. Wonderful natural surroundings. Beautiful garden with olive trees. Very pleasant owner. Spacious room. Tranquil. Very coveniently placed near big tourist attractions of Pisa, Florence, Volterra etc... Furthermore the house is packed with wonderful books of philosophy and art!
