The hotel is nice and cosy, with a very good location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant is excellent and the dinner was fantastic.

Loved Lecco, looked around lots of the local shops and many places to eat. Live music in the street on one night and beautiful by the lake. Everything we visited was within 30 mins walking distance from eachother. Would DEFINITELY come again.

It had everything but wasn’t as touristy like Como or Bellagio. Perfect. The booked walk up the bell tower was great. Bus No 5 ride to the cable car brilliant. Food and drinks spot on. The lake was beautiful.

Lecco is about beautiful and stylish Italian people walking around, tasty food, espresso, combination of culture, gorgeous mountains and a stunning Lake Como. Small shopping is also possible: you can find everything you need there.

A cute place, for me it was all about via ferrata, which you can find plenty around and everything is reachable by bus and feet. Not much to do in the city, but also not as busy as the neighboring Como, but with pretty much the same (if not better) scenic views and easy access to mountains for hiking and climbing.

Lecco is in the south part of Lake Como, but from almost all the cities that we look around the Lake, apart from Bellagio, Lecco is the most picturesque because the mountains chain in the Background. Is simply breathtaking. The city itself has nice restaurants, stores and the walk around the lake is fantastic. Is served from a Train station the reaches Milan and the airports in few times, make it easy to depart and come from overseas. The ferry boats have a fantastic service, and people are nice and helpful. Loved Lecco!!!

A beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como.

A beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como. Plenty to do and the town has excellent amenities. The promenade along the side of the lake is fantastic but the old town a few streets in is also great to wander around.

The staff at Alberi are beyond polite and helpful. Always met us with a smile. Helpful and accommodating all the time. We did not ask for halal meat option for breakfast! They realised that without even us mentioning it and voluntarily provided us with that without any extra charge. Now that’s looking after your guests. I brought this up because this shows how thoughtful they are. The hotel is immaculately placed for all local transport. It’s informed if the best part of the lake! What else can you ask for.

This hostel is just perfect. Very lively, rooms are clean, shower gel and soap available in the bathroom, what I appreciated is also the small separate changing area within the room, good WiFi connection and the fact it's possible to get food/drinks right in the hostel. Breakfast selection was also great, it's not typical in Italy that for such a good price you'd get fresh food + drinks. Very nice!

One of the best apartment We have ever seen. Cozy and pretty big apartment, fully equipped kitchen (they've got really all you need). Nice location (Lecco is small but anyway: 10 min to the lake, 5 min to the nearest shop, 10 min to the train station). We were met by hosts of the apartment, who were the nicest people. They showed and explained everything in details and also we got a small gift :)

We had a lovely stay at Villa del Cigno. Vivianna was very friendly and welcoming and always happy to help. The room and bathroom were spacious and cleaned to a high standard and this was one of the best stays on our tour through Italy.

Great hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace and river view. Lots of choice for breakfast. Lecco is a nice place to visit- much less touristic than Como. Would definitely return.
