IsraelThe apartments are located on the outskirts of Macugnaga, very convenient if you have a car.
The buildings are made of wood, with simple and comfortable furniture. All the apartments face the beautiful Anzasca Valley, with cows grazing nearby.
The whole place feels like an old, authentic Walser village.
Communication with the management was through WhatsApp, and they always responded quickly. The sweetest part was young Gaia, who welcomed us warmly and gave us many great recommendations, which we followed them all

MaltaThe location is excellent for winter activities. The hotel staff are very friendly. The best thing is that it’s so kid friendly, from the kids facilities to the decor to the staff, everything makes you feel very welcome and at ease. Couldn’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be visiting again

Beautiful alpine locality.
Beautiful alpine locality. Not over commercialised compared to other ski resorts - this is still a town, with mainly local tourists.
Proximity and choice of walking trails was excellent. Good one day walks to Monte Moro and Rifugo Zamponi Zappa, the lake and glaciers.

I wouldn't recommend Macugnaga for a summer stay at the foot...
I wouldn't recommend Macugnaga for a summer stay at the foot of the Monte Rosa. The valley is very narrow and rainy. Hikes are limited. On a cloudy day, the place can be slightly sinister. If you wish to see the Monte Rosa in all its glory, rather go to the Ayas or Gressoney valleys or to Zermatt on the Swiss side.

The location was perfect (20 min from Macugnaga, options for a walk along the Anza river, nice Walser village for a stroll in the evening). Very clean, very nice staff. Good restaurant. The bed was comfortable, the pillow was firm and better than in many places.

Its located at the center of Macugnaga and all the restaurants, stores and souvenir shops are beyond your reach ♥️ parking spaces even if its not for free but its all affordable and accessible 👍

Really nice, cosy hotel. It is decorated in a local style so you need to like a "rustic/traditional" look. The staff is very frieand will try to help you with anything you might need.
