A beautiful Inn set high above town with incredible views. Sergio and Sylvia were lovely hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. Food was exquisite and there is good walking and hiking nearby. We loved it!

Lilly and Christian were so pleasant and wonderful as our hosts. They were very considerate of every single detail and we were so impressed by how much they cared for us as their guests. We were traveling with our 1 year old daughter and they provided an oversized standalone bassinet (kind of like a mini crib) which was completely sanitized just like everything else in the villa. Included in our stay was a complimentary breakfast daily of coffee juice and a fresh cornetto. They made sure we had plenty of water, paper towels, toilet paper, clean towels and sheets. The loft was super clean and very spacious. The attention to detail included having universal adapters for our electronics. The private patio was great to sit outside and relax. Overall very impressed by the setup and the dedication to making their guests feel at home away from home. Extremely clean, big tv, comfy sleeping accommodations, washer and dryer, big bathroom, full kitchen, private entrance and patio. They spoke english veey well so there was no language barrier. We also loved the supermarket literally up the block and the brick oven pizzeria across the street which was extremely affordable. Definitely going to stay at the loft everytime we come back to Gioisa Ionica!

B&B La Vecchia Stazione was a wonderful choice for our stay in Gioiosa Ionica. The welcoming staff and beautiful location cannot be beat. The quality of our rooms, and the amenities included ..especially a balcony to wake up to the beauty that is Gioiosa. The common area -kitchen and dinette and sitting area was perfect for a lunch with other family members staying at the B&B. We were able to relax and plan our day. The balcony there was overlooking the main street, and directly in front of Gatto Pasticceria (where we enjoyed our included breakfasts) We purchased many items there to share with our family visits too- Pastries, cookies, mini ice cream cones, torrone, etc. The staff there were so friendly and professional. B&B La Vecchia Stazione was the perfect choice for proximity to the town square - where we can shop for essentials at the supermarket, visit the Churches, grab a caffè and pasticcino with friends at the many cafes, beautify yourself at the hair and nail salons, shop for Calabrian souvenirs at the Sunday mercato, and especially visit our nearby Family. Dear B&B La Vecchia Stazione-- Grazie di tutto. ♡

Lovely, brand new rooms that were sparkling clean & very comfortable. Our host was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us… 3 minutes from the beautiful Jolly Mare Beach, which we enjoyed so much. Free parking right in front of the house on a quiet street.
