The hotel was great :) The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, and the location was good. (Pizzeria ,,happy pizza” was the best and supermarked Eurospin in nearby) Additionally, having soap and shower gel available in the bathroom was very practical, and the abundance of towels was a plus. The only downside is it was not fridge in the room. Good place, close to airport just 12 min.

Diego was an absolute legend. We were robbed of all our possessions the day we arrived. He stayed up till 12.30 pm to check us in, he showed compassion and even drove us to the central train station when we could not get our rental car replaced.

The greeting by the host was very warm and welcoming. The building is historic and retains much of its older charm however the recent renovation is immaculately executed. There is a wood stove in the lower floor operating and producing a cozy warmth in the off-season January. My room was large with a vaulted ceiling (I elected for the larger room upgrade during booking). The bed linens were very high quality with excellent pillows. The bed was large and very comfortable however I was traveling solo so the size didn't matter much. Shampoo and body wash were provided in the shower which is a hit and miss amenity in Italy. The in-room coffee was excellent Lavazza pods and real coffee cream was courteously provided. This place was so nice I will return in the future with my wife.

What I liked most was that it was close to the airport "...

What I liked most was that it was close to the airport "Marco Polo" However trying to get anywhere by taxi is a rip-off. Taxi fare on average is $40 to $50 Euro to go 2miles or more. Its best to travel by bus or train but be sure to know a few words in Italian or you will be lost for sure. What I liked least was that getting to city center was not easy or inexpensive for those with any physical disabilities. However, if your plan is to stay in Marcon and not visit Venice, then it is great because you are close to shopping and restaurants.

Agriturismo Fondo Gioconda is a really special place. Everything is great. Very nice, spacious and clean room. Coffee machine and fridge full of drinks. And above everything excellent host Wania who take care about everything. It's very easy and quick to reach Venice by the train. This place is nice and quite and we can truly recommend it to everyone.
