It was amazing! Highly recommend - host Enzo is so caring and helpful, prepares delicious breakfast! Design is made by the owner Rosi and she also cooks wonderful muffins! Inner courtyard / garden is the place where to enjoy and relax after long day at the coast. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable! Would love to come again soon!

Everything was perfect. Location: maybe 10 min walk from Meta train station. Trains running frequently to and from Sorrento and Naples city centre. Meta itself it's a way much quieter town with a walking distance to the beach. It has a restaurants where you can have a nice dinner watching a sunset. Accommodation was superb. Carlos is such a nice host. He offered us a room with access to the roof top terrace. Roof top terrace has a nice sea view, where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Room had a fridge coffee machine, tv and very comfortable bed. I would really recommend this place to stay, you wouldn't be disappointed.

We had a lovely time as a family. Federica provided very helpful information The flat was clean and spacious, with beautiful Italian décor. Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach. A truly wonderful experience for us as a family, and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely village.

Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base...

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base to explore the coast. We were able to catch the bus into Sorrento daily (it can be a bit of a wait and not always on schedule), and also connect to Amalfi and Positano via the SITA buses.

Meta is lovely.

Meta is lovely. I would use it more as a base though and tour around. Like Pompeii or Rome which was a short trip. It’s pretty quiet, not much around for a grocery store but the people were some of the loveliest we met throughout our tour through Italy. Bus is decent, hard to get a taxi. Train service excellent. You must try Le Conca restaurant in Meta - we went every day, is what THAT good! https://www.ristorantelaconca.net/ Wifi was spotty throughout, but we were having severe rainstorm while here which impacted where we could go. Sorrento was flooded.

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of...

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of heavy rain quite late. We spent the following staying close to the beach and had lunch at TicoTico (suggested by our host) which was excellent! Meta is a quieter place to stay than Sorrento but we found it easy to get there by bus.

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing...

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing to see during snorkeling. So we usually travelled to other places. Unfortunately the public bus transport is pretty bad. No timetable, what google map finds is either out of date or simply not as it expected. We had never known if a scheduled 1-2 bus is coming or not. Total stochastic, and it is pretty bad in the evening. The place itself is nice, but that's all.

This is an incredible place to stay... away from the ultra busy tourist areas, Meta is a beautiful quaint little town just 5 mins on the train from Sorrento its self (there is also a bus every 20 mins). The accommodation was absolutely delightful, incredibly clean and newly refurbished. There was a kitchen available and they provided freshly picked ranges for juicing from the garden. I'd 100% recommend staying here... just not it is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.

The property is in a great location close to the Meta train station, which is a 6 minute ride from Sorrento. There are a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants in the area and it's a 15-20 minute walk to the seafront. The apartment is very spacious and the views are spectacular, with 2 outdoor terraces. The hosts are super friendly and left us welcome items for breakfast, gave us several lifts and even made us a fantastic ham & cheese pie and a tiramisu!

Lovely accommodation in a little village - a short bus or train ride from Sorrento. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We chose to stay here for its proximity to Sorrento (and Capri), as well as to Pompeii. Really enjoyed our stay. We dined at a fabulous restaurant down on the Meta foreshore - we enjoyed it so much we went back the following night..

The place is in a very good location. Very close to the Meta train station. Very good bakery close to the place, wine shop as well. The best thing is fantastic view from terrace. Amazing!! The hoster was very kind and gave useful recomendations. The room not big, but good enought. Very clean.
