I enjoyed the time being in the apartment. It is furnished and decorated with an eye for detail. The room and all common places are very cozy. There is a big kitchen, upper terrace and patio in garden. All of them are very nice and comfortable. Every morning we had juices, milk, sweet cakes on the table in kitchen. Capsule coffee machine was a big plus :) The house is located in the quite street. Beach and train station are a 15 min walk from the house. If you don't want to walk , there is a bus stop nearby. The landlords were very nice, helpful and always accessible on the phone. I highly recommend this accommodation ;)

This stay was incredible. When we walked into our room we were blown away. The ceilings were enormous and the room felt airy, bright and extremely spacious. There was a rooftop terrace for general guest use as well as breakfast downstairs every morning. This was one of our favourite stays during a month long trip of Italy and Greece.

Lovely village.

Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base...

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base to explore the coast. We were able to catch the bus into Sorrento daily (it can be a bit of a wait and not always on schedule), and also connect to Amalfi and Positano via the SITA buses.

Meta is lovely.

Meta is lovely. I would use it more as a base though and tour around. Like Pompeii or Rome which was a short trip. It’s pretty quiet, not much around for a grocery store but the people were some of the loveliest we met throughout our tour through Italy. Bus is decent, hard to get a taxi. Train service excellent. You must try Le Conca restaurant in Meta - we went every day, is what THAT good! https://www.ristorantelaconca.net/ Wifi was spotty throughout, but we were having severe rainstorm while here which impacted where we could go. Sorrento was flooded.

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of...

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of heavy rain quite late. We spent the following staying close to the beach and had lunch at TicoTico (suggested by our host) which was excellent! Meta is a quieter place to stay than Sorrento but we found it easy to get there by bus.

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing...

Basically, the beaches were crowded, plus there were nothing to see during snorkeling. So we usually travelled to other places. Unfortunately the public bus transport is pretty bad. No timetable, what google map finds is either out of date or simply not as it expected. We had never known if a scheduled 1-2 bus is coming or not. Total stochastic, and it is pretty bad in the evening. The place itself is nice, but that's all.

Great Stay – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to all my questions, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. Very nice large 2 bed apartment with a lovely garden. I think the hosts might have been away as we were greeted by a lovely couple who actually picked us up from the bus stop as we caught the bus from Naples, very grateful for that as it is a fair distance! We liked Meta, much quieter than nearby Sorrento and easy to get around on buses and trains.

Very clean private one bedroom apartment with private bathroom and outdoor seating area. Close to public transport and the village centre. 10 mins to the beach. Had some good advice from the owner about a scheduled direct shuttle bus from Meta to the airport which we then used.
