Everything ! It is close to Positano and Amalfi for a day trip but nice and quiet for evenings out of the busy areas. Breakfast and staff were amazing! My husband was sick during our time and they assisted greatly! Also the shuttle is so easy to order and arrange that also helped us get to and from the train station. Nice restaurants walking distance!

Everything was excellent. The room is super clean and stylishly renovated, as shown in booking. The view to the sea is also nice. There is a shared coffee machine for preparing coffee and a shared fridge in a spacious kitchen. Parking is offered for a low price supplement upon request. The location of the structure is just a few meters away from Meta’s beach (Meta is a tranquil village compared to other touristy places), and very close to Sorrento by car or public transport. Pets are also welcome. Angelica, the host, is super kind and helpful. Totally recommended!!!

Lovely village.

Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base...

Meta was a great location if looking for an affordable base to explore the coast. We were able to catch the bus into Sorrento daily (it can be a bit of a wait and not always on schedule), and also connect to Amalfi and Positano via the SITA buses.

Meta is lovely.

Meta is lovely. I would use it more as a base though and tour around. Like Pompeii or Rome which was a short trip. It’s pretty quiet, not much around for a grocery store but the people were some of the loveliest we met throughout our tour through Italy. Bus is decent, hard to get a taxi. Train service excellent. You must try Le Conca restaurant in Meta - we went every day, is what THAT good! https://www.ristorantelaconca.net/ Wifi was spotty throughout, but we were having severe rainstorm while here which impacted where we could go. Sorrento was flooded.

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of...

We only had a couple of days and we arrived in the middle of heavy rain quite late. We spent the following staying close to the beach and had lunch at TicoTico (suggested by our host) which was excellent! Meta is a quieter place to stay than Sorrento but we found it easy to get there by bus.

The staff are friendly and helpful - special thanks to Maria who arranged for the driver to fetch me from the train station and drop me off at the hotel. The hotel has a private beach which is available for all guests to use. I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m in Sorrento.

Very clean private one bedroom apartment with private bathroom and outdoor seating area. Close to public transport and the village centre. 10 mins to the beach. Had some good advice from the owner about a scheduled direct shuttle bus from Meta to the airport which we then used.
