United KingdomFantastic ! A lovely rusticl hotel/restaurant, with a beautiful ' wrap-round' garden, with panoramic views of the Tuscan hills opposite. Wonderful swimming pool. I had a room in an outbuilding with own terrace, great !
In two days, I got to know Ricardo and Catia a little, who told me more about the place and how they run it.
I had two delicious meals at the restaurant and the breakfasts were equally enjoyable. Tuscan hospitality at its best.
Personally, I loved the place.

The pool was excellent and towels are provided. Parking at a relatively reasonable cost is nearby outside the town walls. Not an issue. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

TanzaniaA GEM of a find. Stylishly simple and easygoing country style. Though only BB, it was close to many restaurants. The breakfast was perfectly healthy and beautifully presented. The pool was perfect for a dip at the end of the day! Had a super time and will surely revisit if back in Italy.

One of the loveliest villages in the area, easy to walk...
One of the loveliest villages in the area, easy to walk through (though a somewhat steep climb to get to the top), less touristy than some. Although small, it has a bit of everything: café-restaurant, wine bar, grocery store, pharmacy, weekly movie theater, florist, bakery... And the people are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hillside Ruralle Familiare!
Lovely hillside Ruralle Familiare! Peaceful, quiet, and a spectacular view from our balcony or the property! We loved the pool-it gave great relief from the hot temperatures! The staff were friendly and helpful with our requests!!
Loved the breakfast on the Terrace!!
Location was also good to view other villages and towns(if you have a car) Excellent Coice for a special retreat!!

Montisi is a small beautiful village.
Montisi is a small beautiful village. Our apartment had excellent wi-fi coverage but wi-fi in the village is poor. Montisi has several wonderful places to eat but seating is limited. Definitely need a car to get around the area.

Village is beautiful - dating back to ancient Estruscan...
Village is beautiful - dating back to ancient Estruscan times. It's a hilltop village with incredible views of surrounding valleys. The streets are well kept and feel like a fairytale as you walk through. People are nice and friendly and it felt homely very quick with the two wine bars and small grocery shop. We loved the village.
