On arrival, we had the best welcome. So friendly & professional. We had booked a junior suite and on arrival we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite. Absolutely brilliant, we loved the room. The room was very spacious and the very large bed was so comfortable. We had our evening meal at the hotel, lots to choose from on the menu. Breakfast had a great selection. Would certainly stay again.

The historic centre of Ravenna is small, flat, and extremely walkable. It's picturesque and historic, so there's a huge amount to see and do, including visiting 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites (and an 8th a cheap bus ride away).

A charming but sophisticated for shopping and eating.
A charming but sophisticated for shopping and eating. The monuments were in close proximity to each other and entwined with the vibrant downtown. A place to attend for seeing art but without all of the tourists of Florence.

Some of the best food we ate was in Ravenna. I would highly recommend
Sedici for breakfast and Na Frachetta for dinner, both were fabulous. The Basilicas were unbelievable and I truly mean that. The people were very friendly.

Ravenna is a very nice town with a great city center. Our hotel/apartment was within walking distance of lots of churches, the city center, and restaurants. Ravenna has a lot of mosaics in churches that are interesting. But a day in Ravenna is enough.

Ravenna was great for my two full days, I planned a little longer but plans had to change. "Did" Dante one day, the Mosaics on the other day .., the town/city is not large, easy to navigate, good maps and guide information are provided for the Mosaics tour, recommended and I did two public bus rides to the coast, also recommended if you have a little extra time to see the canals, beach and industry side of Ravenna, and the basilica in the slightly outlying commune of Classe .. public bus travel was straightforward from the piazza outside the main train station.

The old town of Ravenna is beautiful.
The old town of Ravenna is beautiful. We ordered an audio guide of the city which we listen to at our leisure and it could easily have taken most of the day. There are a lot of interesting places to visit. We had a lovely evening meal in the square and unfortunately had to leave the next day, the accommodation was amazing

We booked a large room with a ceiling fresco. The sight when lying at the bed was mind-blowingly beautiful. This is a rare experience which I can just recommend. The location in walking distance to the Ravenna highlights is also a plus. Finally, the staff is extraordinarily friendly. I forgot some clothes at my departure, and the staff helped in an outstanding manner so that my lost items were quickly sent to my next destination on my journey.
I will certainly book the hotel (and a fresco room) again when I come to Ravenna next time.
Straightforward hotel with good parking conveniently located for exploring Ravenna on foot. Room was basic but comfortable, breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful providing maps with the sites marked and instructions on how to walk into the old town.
It is a very nice room for one person. Clean, quiet and the familie is very lovely and helpfull as wel!! I hope I can turn back soon to Italy and I am sure I would like to book a room in B&B A Casa🙂 Thank you so much for everything dear B&B A Casa family
This is a gorgeous hotel right in the centre of Ravenna. Walkable to everything. The junior suite we stayed in was full of Italianate charm and felt very spacious. Yet it had a great modern bathroom- so a perfect combination! Staff were lovely too.
