The whole apartment was very clean and tidy! and well set up Was the quiet season....perfect. Restaurants and bars are closed. However, a 10minute drive will get you food and supplies. The terrace is large and open. The views are stunning. The location is great for exploring other areas like Agrigento, Sciacca or Prizzi (highly recommend) and many other beautiful beaches and small towns. Most of all the host Arianna is very welcoming.

My stay at Sotto le Stelle in the charming village of Caltabelotta was nothing short of exceptional, and much of that credit goes to our wonderful host, Giuseppe. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find that Giuseppe had upgraded us to the largest room available. It was a space that combined comfort with rustic charm, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. An unexpected but much-appreciated perk was the availability of a washing machine and tumble dryer. service. These took care of all our laundry needs, allowing us more time to soak in the local culture. The breakfast spread was delightful. Fresh, local produce coupled with traditional recipes made for a great start to our day. Parking, often a headache when visiting small villages, was a breeze. Thanks to Giuseppe's clear instructions sent beforehand, we encountered no issues finding a spot for our car. In the evening, we dined at Giuseppe's restaurant, Mates. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. The highlight of our evening was conversing with Giuseppe’s father, a gracious man who enriched our understanding of the local culture. Caltabelotta itself is a must-visit. Though the village has almost no streets, the labyrinth of stairs adds to its allure. Once you reach the cathedral at the top of the mountain, you're rewarded with panoramic views that are truly breathtaking. If you're looking for an authentic experience nestled in the hills of Sicily, Sotto le Stelle should be on your list. Highly recommended! Would I stay again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to friends and family? Without a second thought. Thank you, Giuseppe, for making our stay a memorable one

The accomodation was just perfect. Very friendly owners. Although we did not speak the same language, we could communicate very well. The pool is great, with a fantastic view towards Caltabellotta. The surroundings are very nice as well, with lots of olive tree yards. Last, but not least, the beds are very comfortable! A must go for everyone doubting where to stay in Sicily.

Ribera is not a tourist town but it is close to very...

Ribera is not a tourist town but it is close to very attractive places; from the beaches of Secagrande and Eraclea Minoa to the Natural Reserve at the mouth of the river Platani, and further on to the archeological site of the Valle dei Templi close to Agrigento. I have not seen a bus during my short stay in Ribera, everybody walks or drives a car. No bicycles either.

It's a town with a real local "character" of Sicily with many good places to eat (although some were closed in this period - Oct), laid-back character and good location for making trips.

We stayed in Secca Grande which is not the center of Ribera.

We stayed in Secca Grande which is not the center of Ribera. Secca Grande is a small beach town and certainly charming. The lungomare ("boardwalk") in the evening has some nice activity, and there are some fairly good restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful, very well equipped luxury accommodation. The outdoor areas are fantastic including pool, weights, ping pong table, sun loungers and plenty of seating. We cooked outside on the BBQ every night. I loved the colourful tiles. V effective air con which makes a huge difference.

The whole place is absolutely beautiful. The gardens and surrounding areas are very well maintained. The food in the restaurants is excellent quality although it is a bit expensive.

Our stay was outstanding . The staff was impressively good, the food was excellent and the rooms were beautifully appointed. I cannot fault the resort. It is a truly 5 star hotel.
