I visited Salemi to attend a course at the ceramics school and needed an apartment. B&B Al Castello is located a 3-minute walk from Piazza Libertà and a 5-minute walk from the ceramics school, so its location is perfect if you are also attending one of the courses. In addition, during my trip to Salemi I had an issue with my luggage and it arrived a bit later than expected. Giuseppe was very kind and helped me receive it. The room was very clean and had exactly what I needed: a clean and comfortable bed to rest, a clean bathroom, heating for cold days, and a mini fridge in case you need to store some drinks or food. The area is also very quiet, and there is practically no noise at night.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming, providing tips for everything I needed. The location is great, very central if you are planning to explore western Sicily. Places such as Segesta, Selinunte and Erice are quite easy to reach, and the coast is breathtaking. The apartment looks brand new, fully furnished, with a beautiful garden and parking inside the property. Would definitely come back!

The apartment was very comfortable. Each room had an air conditioning unit and it was lovely to have a balcony and a couch for downtime, as well as access to a washing machine. I stayed during my week attending a course at Salemi Ceramics and the location was great - very close to the main piazza where we often met and a short, easy walk to the studio.

The host and her son are the cutest people and so warm welcoming. Views from the place are amazing, we spent a lot of time on the balcony just following the life of birds and the valley below. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our week.

I can highly recommend this wonderful place. It's in a great location in the centre of the old town in walking distance to everything yet very quiet for a good night sleep. The rooms are very comfy, clean and modern and there is a fully equipped kitchen. Giulia was the perfect host - I will come again.

Salemi old town was heaven.

Salemi old town was heaven. Beautiful, traditional and so very quiet. I was doing the amazing course at Salemi Ceramics and the location was the cherry on the cake. I had to pinch myself every morning as I walked to school - it was wonderful.

This is my second time in Salemi in the past eight months.

This is my second time in Salemi in the past eight months. I was a student at Salemi Ceramics both times working with world class artists. I cannot say enough good things about the studio and the amazing people who run it. Salemi is an interesting little communale and the studio has revitalized the town. I would highly recommend Salemi Ceramics.
