Everything was very good ! Very nice, clean room, good internet, good aircon. I had a lovely balcony with furniture. There is also a common terrace with beautiful plants and shade. The owners were wonderful, very friendly ! They even gave me a free lift to the railwaystation, becauseI was ill ! There is a machine in the hotel, where you can get different hot drinks ( Mocaccino, Capuccino etc.) for only 50 cents. The B&B is only 100 meters from the beach, the supermarket, the souvenirshop and a few nice restaurants. Scalea is quiet, not overcrowded, and has a big beach. The pizzeria across the souvenirshop makes great pizzas at very reasonable prices, friendly people. You can see the old part of Scalea from this street or visit it. You can easily walk down from the railwaystation, it is near and NOT steep. I highly recommend this B&B and Scalea ! Thanks very much ! Tutto perfetto, grazie mille !

The place is very central Skalea is wonderful, the parking was easy. Flat very clean, the beds are comfortable no complaint. We stayed 3 nights to visit surrounding cities like Reggio Calabria.

The apartment is beautiful and right by the sea. You can see the sea from the balcony. Very quiet residential location. Interspar is a short walk from the house and you can buy everything you need there. Well-equipped kitchen. The owners are very attentive. They picked me up at the train station and helped me with everything I needed. I highly recommend it!

Very good location, everything is nearby: the historical city center, shops, cafes and the sea, The apartment is very clean, with a view of the sea and the historical center from the balcony. The room has a very comfortable bed and a large wardrobe, modern renovation. Vittorio is the best owner of the apartments, he picked us up in his car at the railway station, the breakfasts were very tasty (continental or sweet) and delicious orange juice. On the ground floor of the building there is a restaurant "Corsaro", where the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Scalea is a wonderful city, I really hope that we will return there.

Breakfast was a selection of sweet pastries, packaged toasted bread with condiments, juice, and expresso. It is brought to you in your room on a tray. The lady that came each day to provide the breakfast and clean the rooms was a delight. I never asked, but its seems like she may have been the wife of the man that had arrived to book me in. I heard no other people staying there when i was there. it seems maybe there is about 3-4 rooms. Its a very well presented, modernised house in the old town.

Having only just sold my apartment in Scalea after 20 wonderful years, I cannot praise Scalea enough. Unfortunately Old Father Time is catching up with me and caused the sale. Scalea is a great town in Calabria with the sea, mountains , shopping centre , several supermarkets, and loads of good restaurants in Scalea itself and the surrounding area. I have found the locals friendly and helpful.

Scale is very nice small town 2 hours from Naples.

Scale is very nice small town 2 hours from Naples. Recommend visiting up to July and from September. In August a lot of Italians come there to spend their holiday and town of 10 000 becomes a town of 150 000. Great beaches, a lot of sightseeing and nearby location to visit. Very friendly people. 178 km by car from Naples. Trains however go almost every hour. If you fancy an original Sicilian food from fresh seafood and do not mind paying a little bit extra go to Ristorante Insieme.

Scalea is a historic town, so besides the beach and the sun you can also discover its historical charm. The town is rugged. Don't be afraid of gentle hills ( almost all towns in Italy are like this).

Lovely beach town with good restaurants. la Piazzaetta is a favorite of the locals who entertained us on open-mike night. Antica Trattoria a Taverna is a long walk uphill to the old town. We had half liter of vino bianco locale with the shared special antipasti served with bread which was very filling. The pasta dishes that followed were delicious but we should have shared that too. Best not to visit Scalea in July or August when it is very crowded. We visited in mid-September and had a very nice time.

Scalea is a warm and friendly town.

Scalea is a warm and friendly town. The restaurants are abundant and serve outstanding Calabrian cuisine. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. If you are traveling with a young family, there is much to do...not to mention how safe Scalea feels.

Loved our accommodation, especially the views and proximity to Scalea. There is everything you need in Scalea and it is only a very short drive from the accommodation. Great restaurants, beaches and centre storico.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Marinari. The hotel has a historical exterior, but inside it is very modern. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean, including a spacious and spotless bathroom. This hotel offers everything a guest needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owner was a very polite and kind man, welcoming and friendly. He also prepared an excellent breakfast for us. Highly recommended!

I always enjoy staying at this location. I always ask to not have room service as I am only there for a short duration and prefer to enjoy Scalea. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. It is a location I will continue to stay at for the times I visit Scalea.
