Beautiful views and facilities. The swimming pool and option to use the beach club were great. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We had a lovely time and would certainly visit again.

Room was cosy and nice. I was surprised with a balcony, becouse I didn't know I booked a room with a balcony. That was a bonus. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was on a terrace, what was also nice. I had a very BIG croissant ever seen 🤣, it was fresh and tasty.

The place is very central Skalea is wonderful, the parking was easy. Flat very clean, the beds are comfortable no complaint. We stayed 3 nights to visit surrounding cities like Reggio Calabria.

Loved the location and the view. Absolutely stunning! The breakfast was sweet and yummy in the morning. We were able to go for a morning swim straight after breakfast. It's basically on the water. The water is super clean and clear.

It was spacious, clean, well equipped, price worthy and most of all the hosts were very nice and caring helping us any way they could although we did not speak Italian and had to use Google translate to make ourselves understood.

Having only just sold my apartment in Scalea after 20...

Having only just sold my apartment in Scalea after 20 wonderful years, I cannot praise Scalea enough. Unfortunately Old Father Time is catching up with me and caused the sale. Scalea is a great town in Calabria with the sea, mountains , shopping centre , several supermarkets, and loads of good restaurants in Scalea itself and the surrounding area. I have found the locals friendly and helpful.

Scale is very nice small town 2 hours from Naples.

Scale is very nice small town 2 hours from Naples. Recommend visiting up to July and from September. In August a lot of Italians come there to spend their holiday and town of 10 000 becomes a town of 150 000. Great beaches, a lot of sightseeing and nearby location to visit. Very friendly people. 178 km by car from Naples. Trains however go almost every hour. If you fancy an original Sicilian food from fresh seafood and do not mind paying a little bit extra go to Ristorante Insieme.

Scalea is a historic town, so besides the beach and the sun you can also discover its historical charm. The town is rugged. Don't be afraid of gentle hills ( almost all towns in Italy are like this).

Lovely beach town with good restaurants. la Piazzaetta is a favorite of the locals who entertained us on open-mike night. Antica Trattoria a Taverna is a long walk uphill to the old town. We had half liter of vino bianco locale with the shared special antipasti served with bread which was very filling. The pasta dishes that followed were delicious but we should have shared that too. Best not to visit Scalea in July or August when it is very crowded. We visited in mid-September and had a very nice time.

Scalea is a warm and friendly town.

Scalea is a warm and friendly town. The restaurants are abundant and serve outstanding Calabrian cuisine. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. If you are traveling with a young family, there is much to do...not to mention how safe Scalea feels.

Loved our accommodation, especially the views and proximity to Scalea. There is everything you need in Scalea and it is only a very short drive from the accommodation. Great restaurants, beaches and centre storico.

Lovely comfortable and very clean room, beautiful views. Very central for restaurants and beach. Host was very friendly. Would stay again, Scalea is a lovely town. I Recommend visiting the restaurant, Cimalonga, which is a 5 minute walk in old town and just up the hill from accommodation. Food is excellent and owners are so friendly, well worth a visit. One of the best meals we have had in Calabria, very reasonable price for food and drinks.

Really exceptional apartment, right by the old town, easy access to the beach and the real part of the city. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a little garden, nice breakfast, clearly really taken care of and looking to provide the best stay.

Domenico was a great host and the property presents really well. The balcony,with sea views, is a bonus! Scalea is a holiday/beach town and probably why most people visit but the Centro Storica is sooooo cute! We loved our stay.

A really beautiful location in Scalea. Staff is professional and the view from our room is breathtaking! We were also allowed to get an Umbrella at the beach which was included in the room price! Really nice experience!
