he breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with fresh and high-quality products. The location was perfect for me – surrounded by nature, with plenty of trekking paths and a very peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, it was conveniently close to the village and local restaurants. The owner was very friendly, and the hotel offers plenty of space to relax, sit, and truly unwind.

Wonderful and cozy place! Warm and clean. There is a parking space. I really liked the idea with the shelves, very comfortable and does not take up much space. The only thing was that we could not open the shutters ourselves during the day, so it was quite dark in the room, but this did not affect our stay at all.

Very helpful staff, I was travelling by bicycle and they allowed an early checkin at 12:00 pm. Good breakfast, location is close to supermarket. Safe place to store the bicycle.

Absolutely gorgeous renovation in an absolutely charming historic quarter. Very comfortable apartment, which had everything I needed. Marco was a very welcoming and extremely considerate host. He picked me up at the train station and took me to the accommodation. I’d been walking the Via Francigena and was ill when I arrived, so he took me to the hospital and translated for me, as well. I was beyond grateful.

La Beppa is an exceptional place to stay. The room was wodnerful and ideal for a family staying either for a night or for a longer holiday. The rooms are very well furnished and have a well-equipped kitchen - the view from the bedroom over the Apulian Hills is exceptional and it was fantastic to be woken up by the birdsong. The breakfast room has cakes, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, yogurt and is entirely self-service, but pretty exceptional. We also enjoyed a quick dip in the hot tub . which wasn't very hit, but probably just as well after a long ferry and drive from Sardinia. And we also discoverd Pontremoli which is a beatiful small town with a number of great restaurants.

We had the most wonderful stay at Il Poggio di Traverde! This charming place is nestled up the mountain from Pontremoli, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The serene and picturesque ambiance was exactly what we needed to unwind and connect with nature. The hosts, two sisters, were simply amazing - incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The homemade breakfast they prepared was divine. The rooms were simple yet very clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and boasted magnificent views from the terrace. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of our stay was the accessibility to the nearby gorge, Gli Stretto Di Giaredo, which the hosts recommended. We must say, it was a nature lover's paradise! The small hike led to absolutely stunning views and natural pools for a refreshing swim. We highly recommend this experience if you are outdoorsy. In addition to the great hospitality and breathtaking views, the property also offered free parking, making it easily accessible by car. Overall, our experience at Il Poggio di Traverde was nothing short of exceptional. It's a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. We felt so welcome throughout our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding flora and fauna.

A very peaceful place, friendly and service minded owner, and good food. It is kind of isolated from the rest of the world's stress. About 15-20 min on small serpentine roads to reach the village. Stunning view over the mountains on two sides. Nice to sit in the jacuzzi and look at the view It was nice to get away from the July-heat in the valleys and get some fresh coolish air up on the mountain.
