This private boutique hotel, owned by a Jamaican, is located at the beginning of Jamaica's best 7-mile beach. The hotel has its own parking lot and several apartments located in the garden in several buildings. Some are on the ground floor and others on the first floor. The photos on the booking site accurately show what the hotel looks like. The hotel is in a quiet location at the beginning of the beach, from which you can walk to many restaurants and bars. The hotel also has its own bar and restaurant and serve breakfast, lunch dinner. The entire complex is constantly tidy. Guests have free sun loungers and beach towels. The apartments are very cleaned every day. The cleaning is absolutely perfect. The hotel has its own power source, which is useful given the frequent power outages. A refrigerator is available. Each apartment has a table and chairs on the terrace. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is new and spacious. Definitely suitable for anyone who likes a higher standard and prefers privacy and tranquility over large resorts. Good value for money.

The checkin by Jarvis was first rate. He anticipated our questions and gave us local advice. Very pleasant guy. He also wanted to make sure we were safe and physically walked us to the correct Route Taxi. Gary, a security guard on the property felt like a friend and was always checking with us to make sure we were good. He helped us get in touch with Captain Randolph who with his son took us snorkeling at the reef out by Booby Key. The Firefly was chill atmosphere and lots of flowers ant tropical plants all around. Shade everywhere. The restaurant on the beach served as a community gathering place and we made friends. We were far enough away from the party bars that it was no big deal. One could easily walk up the beach to party all night if inclined. We stayed in one of the secret cabins where we had to go out to the bathroom just a few steps away, but it was well lit and felt safe. The outdoor shower was fantastic.

Charela's was so relaxing it's like a retreat,you hear the birds singing in the morning sitting on my balcony with my coffee it's so quiet and peaceful, dining staff was great, enjoy breakfast the most walking on the beach or just lounging under the coconut tree such tranquility.

The flowers we’re blooming on the trees, and some of those flowers were placed on my bed and dresser. It was a nice touch even in the bathroom with the towels.
