A large and nicely decorated house out of the centre of Yufuin with good facilities. Excellent outdoor onsen. Very clean. A lovely view over the town. We enjoyed the walks to various sights in the town. Unfortunately I found the beds very firm but others may not.

This is THE best place in Yufuin. It was really easy to check in. Yes it's a bit further away from the city centre which makes it a bit more difficult to get to if you don't have a car (you can walk it or take a taxi up there) but it has the most epic view of the mountain. There are two onsens that everyone at the hotel can use, but they are effectively private as once you are in them you lock the door and you can have them to yourselves. The water is fantastic. Refreshing and makes you feel very relaxed. I would stay here at the drop of a hat again. Also make sure you walk up to Oogosha shrine (only 5 mins away) where you can get the experience of visiting a HUGE cedar tree temple and a bamboo forest that is 10x better than Arashiyama.

It was spacious, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and excellent value for money. The owner was very welcoming, hospitable and kind. It was great to have our own onsen which looked out to the unit's small Japanese garden. We slept on the futon section of the property and we had a good night's sleep. There was an option to sleep on a double bed in the other section of the property. We had a rental car and we had no problem getting to the property by typing in the phone number into the navigation system. We had a small car and the parking space was ok. We enjoyed our lovely stay there and would have loved to stay longer!

Clean, cosy and food was delicious. Owner and staff were so nice and friendly; he gave us a lift to the town centre to find lunch. Worth getting the half board as food was homely. Will definitely return if we come to Yufuin again.

The design and beautiful trees facing the room including a plant in the room. The garden where pre dinner is served is beautiful. Details such as bathroom can access to the onsen pool and every details made the stay rejuvenating The amenities in the room are great including the ice cream and sweets .
