We loved staying here and in this valley so much we extended by our stay by two nights. The yurt is cozy and warm even during cold nights, the meals are big and delicious, and the lady running the camp was extraordinarily nice and helpful. The outhouse also had toilet paper provided and while spotty there was enough wifi for some basic activity like sending messages. She also had the best homemade jam I’ve ever had. This was our first yurt stay, but a couple we met staying here said it was the nicest they’ve stayed at in Kyrgyzstan. We really loved this place and would absolutely stay again!

The owners, Ernis and Kondous, were fantastic hosts warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. Ernis and his wife Kondous, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. This is their first season, they opened a couple of months ago. Food was great. The camp is set a bit uphill which makes it peaceful and gives you the best views of the valley. Horses and cows run free around the property, which gives it an authentic charm, and the scenery is simply amazing. The toilets are a little far away, but overall it was a memorable and unique stay .

This place is something really special. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The facilities are amazing. The hot spring was included in the price. Special mention to Arif who speaks many languages and does everything in his power to make customers happy! Thank you thank you! The rooms had heaters!!! Made for a very comfortable sleep! There are places to relax and lounge! They will arrange horses and cars and guides! Meals were plentiful and delicious! There is also wifi for a small price!

Aliya goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. The location is nice, the yurts are better than most we’ve stayed at and the food was great. Excellent, clean toilet.

I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Altyn Arashan. The host, his family, and everyone there are incredibly kind and helpful. However, I don't advise driving your rented car to this location—the road is full of stones, holes, and mud. Either walk if you have some spare time (it's about 15 km) or have the owner, Marat, pick you up near the Ak-Suu forestry in Teploklyuchenka town, just south of Karakol. The drive to his place takes about 2 hours and is a truly wild and exciting experience. Furthermore, if you plan to visit Ala-kul Lake, you can either go on foot or rent a horse (and a guide, which is recommended if you don't know the route and lack horse-riding experience). One more thing—when you return from Ala-kul, I highly recommend visiting the hot springs. They are not very expensive and, with the lower evening temperatures, you can enjoy soaking in the hot water. I will definitely return to this place if I ever visit Altyn Arashan again. Great experience! P.S. The Ala-kul Lake in June might still be frozen!

Everything was very clean. The owners were extremely nice and friendly and always ready to help. Our stay was very comfortable and we highly recommend this place. The owners spoke english and russian and it was very easy to communicate. Lovely stay!
