Boasting a garden and a terrace, Farida Lodge is located in Moroni. Featuring a shared lounge with a flat-screen TV and WiFi. Some rooms come with a private bathroom, while some feature a sea view. Room as described in pictures, food good, price great, sea view location cool. As opposed to a normal hotel, you have experienced hosts to talk to, ask opinions or just set up casual chats. If you want to discover comoros and comoros culture, this is a great fit. The food option is sufficient for two persons, you can ask for one but try the full option to taste it first. There were no water cuts when i was around (12 days). I noticed one or two brief electricity cuts during the night, that's all. Wifi in comoros is a bit weird so, make sure to have mobile data around. Location is not at the center of Moroni but taxis pass by the front door all the times. There are also nearby restaurants, masaajid for normal prayers. The PCR test center is at some 5 mins walk. Convenient during those times. The main thing is, if something is bothering you, just tell the hosts. I speak french and it was very smooth communication. I had a very good stay, with calm, quiet rooms. I had a great time with the hosts as well as exploring the surroundings. If you want high quality service etc, go for a hotel, but, if you want to get an assisted glimpse of Comoros, this is a great place to stay.

Le Dhow 2 is located in Moroni and offers a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. This self-catered apartment has a garden and free private parking. We were very satisfy with the accommodation, we slept there very well, the bed was very comfortable, we liked food very much and the best was the service ;-) We got a lot of information about Comoros and we got a huge help from Issam. Without his help would be the stay at Comoros and the trip to Moheli almost immpossible. We are very greatfull!!!

to be honest it is not a place that I would like to go again you have maybe nice stuff to see on great comoro Island, but Moroni is not a part of it . it's full of dirt and junk and I was really shocked by it in this amount of garbage everywhere
The only good thing about Moroni is wheels up 🛫. There is absolutely NOTHING redeeming about this island. Stay away at all costs. Some of the beaches have human feces on them and all of them boost rubbish pit levels of trash. It is the most disgusting place I’ve been to in 63 countries. Moroni and the rest of the island make the Cape Town & Johannesburg townships look like a 5* resort.
