Vaduz
The Landhaus am Giessen is located an easy walk or a short bus ride from the center of Vaduz in Liechtenstein. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Frankly everything, what to say; anything extra goes done the line of luxury caprice. Great view of the castle from the back rooms. To give it a more touristy & natural appeal the balcony flooring is grass turf, fake yes, but it sets in with the natural ambience. The warm wind leaves it pleasant even in autumn evenings.

Vaduz
Featuring city views, Vaduz Zentrum Meierhof has accommodations with a terrace and an electric tea pot, around a 19-minute walk from Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts. Having long list of bookings over recent decade, it was surely our best experience that far. To begin with, Gina is a perfect host, very friendly, attentive and striving to make her best for our comfortable stay. The place itself is amazing, given its location, breath-taking views from the terraces and every window on three sides, you wont miss the chance to see the beautiful Alps all around the apartment. If you walk 15 mins from the apartment you will be in the centre of Vaduz and 20 mins drive to Malbun (nice little town up in the mountains where you can find lots of snow in the winter).

Vaduz did not meet our expectations - perhaps because we didn't do sufficient research, but we expected something more quaint. Also, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and almost everything was closed. Again, this was based on insufficient research on our part.
There are many interesting things to do in Vaduz and the surrounding areas. However, travelers should be aware the most attractions and shops close on Saturday at 5pm and remained closed until Monday.
Tiny capital in a tiny country - perfect for a short weekend trip to a country most people haven't visited. Rent an e-bike to get around the country! Book a train ticket to Buchs SG in Switzerland and take the bus from there to Vaduz.
Nobody around in the weekend. Nearly everything’s closed. Just banks, watches and jewelry shops. You can’t visit the castle. The modern art museum is quite nice though. Locals are friendly—if you manage to see any. The tourist information center is quite helpful, and if you rent an e-bike there you can easily explore places further afield. Otherwise the place is a bit of snooze.
The view from my balcony room was really great, looking over the mountains really relaxing sitting on the balcony with a G&T and watching the sun rise and go down. . Does a fantastic Cheese and Ham Toasties THE BEST I have ever tasted. some great walks walked down to the town and up, takes approx. 30-40 Minutes if you are fitter probably less. you can get taxis if you have a disability. I would most certainty liked to visit again but for much longer next time. staff very attentive. If you want dinner I would advise booking in advance. it is very easy getting round Vaduz as not too big but Buses stop regularly to take you too different places around Switzerland and Austria.
I loved how Medieval it felt and how small it was, it was such a cosy city. Of course due to the size there isn’t tons to do, however Austria and Switzerland are just a short drive away if you get bored! The Castle of Vaduz is absolutely beautiful, and it’s possible to drive up to it to get a good look. We also took a short drive to Werderbergensee which is the smallest town in Switzerland. We loved it and highly recommend going to see it. In terms of food we ate a great meal at Restaurant Adler and also at our hotel (Gasthof Lowen). Wish we could have stayed longer to eat at more places! The people are very nice and we were so impressed at how everyone spoke English. If you’re ever nearby, I highly recommend staying a few nights in Vaduz!
