The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Thanks for having us :)

Private beach access steps away! It's so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was so filling, staff kept bringing out more dishes. It rained the day I was to check out and I decided to stay another night. It was the best decision of my trip!

These days in the hotel were like at home. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs Dias and their wonderful daughter Goony for such a warm and friendly welcome. We are vegans, that's why it's tough sometimes to find a place to eat with appropriate options for us. However, in this hotel owners made their best. The food was prepared specially for us according to our needs including plant-based protein, carbohydrates and fresh fruits and vegetables. The food tasted fabulous! Moreover the staff was nice, the room was clean and quite. So we had everything for a great vacation. We really appreciate such high-quality customer service this hotel provided us. Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back someday!

As the name suggests, the view is amazing. You can view the whole beach from the hostel itself. The host was very polite and respectful towards the guest. Breakfast was amazing too which includes Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the days and it was very delicious. The dorms were clean, spacious and air conditioned. The bathrooms had showers with multiple settings and were clean too. Overall, an 10/10 experience. Nothing to call out.

It was so clean and they cleaned regularly, the room was stunning, nice and cool. The balcony was so nice with view of the jungle and monkeys and squirrels. The yoga on the rooftop was nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The property has very good location, only 10 minutes walk from coconut’s hill and some very good restaurants. the facilities are very good, it has a beautiful garden/jungle. The breakfast that Ruwan has prepared OMG!!! One of the best Dhal Curry you can have around the island. It is very comfortable place to spend your vacation in Mirissa. Our 2 years old loved the place as well! Thanks Ruwan for the great stay!
