This is one of the best hotels I have ever experienced ❤️. The size of the room was perfect, and the bathroom was very big and bright. The breakfast and dinner buffet was so delicious 😋. Special thanks to Mr Salinda، The Manager, who was keen to make us feel comfortable and enjoyable with all the facilities in this beautiful hotel. I recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone it's close to discovering colombo, and it is near the biggest mall one face galle.

Super friendly and helpful staff who looked after us well on our brief two night stay. Good size room that with two large beds fitted our two young children and my wife and I easily. Made the effort at breakfast to amend what was on the menu to the children’s liking.

We were only in Columbo for one night at the end of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka but wished we could have stayed here longer. We booked a suite and a double room, both of which were furnished to a very high standard. We generally like to go out and discover different restaurants but due to time we had lunch in the hotel which was Thai and Japanese. The food was so good that we had dinner there too! There are restaurants on the ground floor and also the rooftop which was lovely at night to eat under the stars. Great cocktails too.

I recently stayed at this lovely property in Colombo, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to explore Colombo’s highlights. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with a soothing interior that felt calm and welcoming after a day of sightseeing. It struck the perfect balance between comfort and style. One of the best parts of our stay was the amazing dinner prepared by the chef. It was a true Sri Lankan home-cooked experience, bursting with authentic flavors. We enjoyed it on their terrace, overlooking a stunning view of Colombo, which made the evening unforgettable. Both the room and the meals were very reasonably priced, which made the whole experience feel like great value for money. Breakfast was hearty and filling—so satisfying that we didn’t even need lunch afterwards! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located stay with delicious food and warm hospitality, this is the perfect spot to start your Sri Lanka adventure. Highly recommended!

    Colombo has become a great city to spend a few days taking in its vibrant culture. Transport via Unber or Tuk Tuk is very affordable and there is plenty to ssee and do - as well as taking out the time to enjoy some great food and froiendly service.

    Colombo has many main tourist attractions but these could easily be seen within one day on a tuktuk. Another day to do the Pettah markets and some of the other plazas. Then you are done. Unless you have people to be with in Colombo two, maybe three, days should be enough. The real adventure of Sri Lanka lies out of Colombo in the central towns and cities and those towns along the coast. Tuktuks and taxis abound and can be inexpensive - all around Sri Lanka. HOWEVER always ask for a set price before you get in as to the cost of the trip you need. Tourists will always pay a little more than the locals but it can still be very cheap. A lot of shops and places do not accept credit card payments, so come with a wallet of cash. Supermarkets called Keells and Cargills for example abound are are a local prices. Their range of food and drinks is large. Rubbish can be a bit of an issue if you notice, but there are street cleaners who seem to collect the rubbish just thrown onto the road edge daily. The sun and heat can be harsh for foreigners so come prepared with big hats, sunburn cream, sunglasses and clothes that 'breathe'. The locals are generally very respectful, honest and helpful in answering any questions you may have. You will find lots of beggars as well on your travels. They appreciate any amount you can give to them.

    Basically this is like apartment. such like include Bedroom, Hall, Small Balcony, Bathrom and Kitchen. Close to Colombo City and the attraction places soround colombo, Wellawatte, Dehiwala zoo, Lotus Tour, One Galle Face, Galle Face Beach, Majestic City, Local restaurants including vegeterian takeaway places, ect.. Easy to public transportation to anywhere around sri lanka ( Most of the places ).

    Great city! There's access to everything.

    Great city! There's access to everything. Whatever you need, you can find it in Colombo. If you can't find it here, you probably won't find it anywhere else in Sri Lanka. Shopping can be expensive with name brands, but there are always similar quality alternatives for less.

    Honestly, everything was fine - the pool area is nice, checkin was fast and easy and the employees were nice - its just a bit too expensive for what was offered. The pictures are all accurate but it was somehow still less luxurious than we expected. We have liked other hotels in Sri Lanka which cost less a lot better. We didnt book the breakfast and only stayed one night so I cant say much about the surroundings. There is a shop and few restaurants around, but I personally wouldnt stay in Colombo if you dont have to :)

    This is hands down the best hotel I've ever been to and I'm a frequent world traveller. Considering that I paid the same amount for an airbnb in Dorset last month, this is insanely good value. I tried another hotel in Colombo previously, and I'm so lucky I was curious to book this one for my second stay. Luxury on steroids.

    Finally a place with charme and personality, far from the new and anonymous hotels around the world. This half ruined building, with old forniture and labyrinthic corridors was the best place to land for the first night in Sri Lanka. Not the cleanest and the comfiest, but with 100% post colonialists aura. Go there.

It’s not a 5 Star hotel but Malitha gives 5 Star hospitality!! So friendly and so helpful, this place will always be our Colombo accommodation!
